How many riders did you see Norbold over the years that you first thought god they won't make it but improved week on week.Malcolm Holloway,Martin Hewlett ,Alun Rossiter, are three fine examples of riders that i never envisaged being good anough for a mega tough British division 1 but they learned quickly you had to it was brutal dog eat dog being thrown in with the likes of Ashby,Kilby,Crump.

I can remember first seeing Ali Stevens and he was very talented young Paul Dugard and Jon Surman also give there alll never quite made it but we're able riders.Going back further for the rebels really liked Timmo,Dews, and Ulf Lovass who was the complete opposite to Dag.Pander ( only see once) Genz ,and Gooddy were stalwarts and Middleton what can you say a class act who put bums on seats.

Yes you could be right in my lifetime Jansson,Crump,snr ) Ward,Adams, are four riders who were good anough to be World Champion.Lindback for me never good anough go back into yesteryear Farndon,Duggan were nailed on World Champs and maybe Graham Warren should of won one as well??!

To be honest Pinny my youngest lad was a big Charlie Gdedde fan and i always rated Niels higher we used to argue our cases having a laugh.Did i think Niel's would ever be a GP star probably not but Newport in Niel's ,Smart, Watson(who I liked) really had some nice riders.Going back to ZAGAR he was a class act and i first see him when Holloway (who then was old took Simon Phillip's place and Matei was a class act looking back ZAGAR has had a great career but he was certainly World Champion material.

ZAGAR who i have followed since his Trelawney days ie) with an ancient Holloway, Harris, Masters,Ondrasik, he is an underachiever a really classy rider who has never quite stepped up to the mark.

I liked Joe Screen really rated Courtney but this Kemp lad can do it Lee excited me a freak this lad can cut the mustard.

Took Bickley from the back at Worky then made a mistake and was repassed he also rode in the very difficult home meeting v a very difficult Peterborough side then last nights tremendous paid fourteen so paid 15 points in three meetings a great start.These meetings are all about enjoying it and learning off the likes of Louis/Hawkins this lad is a prospect and his main asset I believe like Bewley is that he seems a very level headed young man.

I hope so as well and what a level headed young man he is to.

Hyderd in my opinion in no particular order Lee,Gollob,Ward, T.Jansson are the four most naturally gifted riders i ever saw.Just sad i did not see Gollob in his pomp around Bydgoszcz he was amazing his race with Jimmy Nilsen was awesome he made moves that some other riders could only dream of.Lee well was amazing at 16 a freak really superb and i had the pleasure of seeing Darcy as a Robin what ability he had majestic.Tommy Jansson style wise awesome and a certain World Champion and with his looks and personality would of been a terrific role model for speedway a crying shame what happened.

If you were a betting man Matt and to your credit you do get a lot right on all subjects do you see speedway starting at the Abbey in March 2019.?

He should be with Drew at reserve next year as well being a Ipswich asset but that is another question.Drew showing that even though he is a massive talent the NL and Championship are worlds apart if the Brummies do go into the Championship it would be great if Danyon got a place.Dont know what you think B but Danyon is a real racer but can gate as well that is why he will make his mark at Championship level .I just hope Danyon plays the percentage game more in his quest for points but i don't think that is in his nature he is a born racer.The Brummies with Bacon,Hume,Flint, Shane's Walker all fit for the whole season who knows what they could of achieved but the progress of Bacon has been amazing.

Josh,Kyle,Andersen ( hold my hands up totally wrong about him) Shanes would be a good four to start with depends on the structure of the league though.

How is Danyon looking Kev? fingers crossed he can stay injury free until the end of the year it has been a frustrating one for him.I have just realised he has still scored three FULL / and a paid maximum at home this year so not all bad.I recon a few months out in Aussie could bring him on a bit and he is still a shoe/in to be a regular Championship rider again and if Ipswich can't offer him a place he needs to move on some one like Scunthorpe would be ideal.
