Kings Lynn Vs Somerset: Wed : 30-05-2018

I hence your last sentence a terrific idea and you are so right about the experience factor young Flint has rode abroad a bit great experience for him .Where as an a example Hume/Burden both 21 started at Rye House straight from moto cross have not really had that much racing time so there are different time scales to each different rider. Each rider is different some can gate crash there way through the system some are slow burners but the future looks good i am hopeful.Kemp Flint and Hume are my three that i really like also forgot young Jack Thomas another talent. -

What meeting were you referring to Doctor??? i know you were a huge Todd fan. Also another question Doctor when did you see the real progress from the terrific Per Jonsson? i see a lot of Per from 84/ 89 then stopped going to Reading.Per had a lovely riding style rode a lot with Malc Holloway i knew he would be good never thought he would be World Champ though thought Gustafsson might get there before him. -
I think after your win last night your post was proved correct looking at it how many away wins have there been away not many. Also Swindon are a very strong side at home a terrific top five with great backing from Zach.I do think Somerset are in the mix for fourth spot with Lynn,Poole, all to play for.

I think Thomson is a very good shout very classy, young Lyager to could be an option i don't know if he is quite ready yet but he has talent i thought Scunny would of got him back to replace Nielsen.

I am not a fan of Glyn's either ( nothing personal Glyn!!) Phil Crump was eliminated from the WC in the Aussie round after Crump had a notorious clash with Billy Sanders.Crump had scored 12 but got excluded wrongly Glyn Taylor got 13 he got asked to stand down but he took his place in the Overseas Final and was outclassed. -

Out of all the young riders so far Bickley seems to have found it harder than anyone which is really surprising but he is still young along time to still keep improving. But there is real hope for the future riders who can get to at least full time Championship level minimum.Kemp,Flint,Hume,Brennan,Jenkins,Edwards,Parkinson Blackburn,Wood,Brooks,Burden,Mountain,Kinsley,Hampshire,Rowe,Powell (etc) -

I am with you Daniel Andersen should not keep his place if you are going to persevere with somebody Bailey should be in.Just like young Greaves at Wolves they showed faith in him and he is steadily improving i don't think Andersen would average 6 in the Championship. -
But Holder had been long talked about as a talent just happened that Poole signed him.A bit like now in Aussie List, Gilmore ,Brown are all talked about as the next generation coming through whoever signs them are those who give them the best deal.
-
Why was Jenkins at the celebration meeting then? Kemp i think is destined for Ipswich as a Brit would you trust the Poole promotion to give you a prolonged run? A great example are Ipswich they are going to stick with Mountain/Hume as they should because both of those men will be good riders in the future hopefully Ipswich will reap the long term benefits of that.

Get all the NL fixtures up they are available and you only have to find about three away dates go on updates everything is there.God if you go on updates and went through every club away that would take you five minutes tops.
-
Not offended not one bit makes no odds to me but do you not think you were a wee bit disrespectful to those two riders.?
-
Do you think a mixture of say five good riders with two talented Brits maybe not all Brit's? could it work Steve.? Would the youngster say have two races against his opposite 6/7 and maybe against a number 2 and 4 not easy to organise i know but for me it is an exciting thought.Just think Poole as a example Holder,Holder, jnr),Kurtz,Woryna,Sundstrom,Jenkins,Brennan.
-
What a disrespectful post an important 2/3 points can make the difference in winning the meeting. The other week at the Abbey ok we beat Rye House easily but Jack Smith v Max Clegg there meeting's were mini battle's it is a team sport not everyone are World Champion material i have respect for every rider your last sentence tells me you don't.
-
What you are saying Ray is if your other riders had rode to there full potential nothing at all would of been said about James. Also with James when i have seen him ride and you know more about him than me he has rode his nuts off supporters can relate to that.If Swindon could swap Shane's for Smith a big yes from me and that is meant with disrespect to Jack .But I do believe Jack can improve and he can do that with no pressure as most home supporters hope for a minimum of 2 points per meeting.
-
The Shane's scenario you have not quite grasped it, no one else as far as i know has backed you on that issue because Poole had bigger issues to address before Shane's.Also on Rosco at Swindon we have had poor seasons as well just like any other club success goes around in cycles. Some of the riders at Poole have not been good anough end of certainly this year is that totally Ford who picks them i don't know. The side assembled by Ford this year really was based on POTENTIAL a few risks in there Gavan stated that he got (slated) but it has backfired. Starting tonight they can try and rectify thing's build on Monday's encouraging performance and push on.
-
Very easy to get all the fixtures up all leagues most teams in the NL have only had about four away meeting's.
-
Go on the updates.
-
Why would i put you on ignore? your opinion is valid you are entitled to it but you are not consistent Poole have had a great run success wise over a long period.Middleditch did not win all those trophie's by luck and by the way handling big stars keeping everyone happy is not easy.As for the Shanes debate you are totally WRONG would a team in trouble believe replacing a two pointer would be the end of there troubles just be truthful Shanes was shafted how is MS still there?.Even with Nielsen in the team the problems were still there replacing Shanes did not make a lot of difference do you think James scoring 4 rather than 2 was the difference I don't.
-
Your side Wolves Steve have done for years what Swindon have in place now continuity using a same pool of riders and getting the benefit.Thorssell a brilliant example now with PK,Freddie being awesome servants over the years how many clubs would of retained the young Greaves this year not many chuffed that he is making progress this year.
-
You change from day/day you gave it large before the season started saying Poole would p... the league you put your head on the chopping block but when you got it wrong you cannot take the flak.Who i feel for are the real Poole posters on here we all know who they are who are real people and have a balanced opinion. It is a funny thing to say but i want Poole to turn it around they are good for the league i want the sport to prosper as a whole and for it to get stronger.
-
Total rubbish Middleditch his record speaks for itself people who i know in speedway ( who i respect) all say what an excellent man/manager Middlo is he backs his riders to the hilt in bad times also he is a great human being .How much input does Neil have? does he take the brunt when Poole fail? does Ford call all the shots ? the riders in that team this year have to take responsibility Middleditch cannot be blamed for everything.
-
If the league can be structured where the likes of Jenkins,Kemp,Edwards,Brennan,Hume,Mountain,Wood,Blackburn,Flint, (etc ) are mixed in that could be the way to go.Most of those riders can double up ( I know fixture planning is a problem) so riding in the top division is more about experience than anything. Two examples here a Poole team next year Holder,Holderjnr) Kurtz,Woryna,Sundstrom,Jenkins,Brennan. Swindon. Morris,Ellis,Batch,Musielak Zach, Kemp, Hume both exciting line ups.
-
Do you think some people just like change everyyear? get to past Christmas the excitement of a new season coming they want fresh faces. For me why change for change sake the art is blooding in fresh blood when needed hopefully an improver and then fit them in the jigsaw. If we win nothing this year so what we have been competitive it would of given me anough pleasure seeing Adam/Zach developing and Nick and there is still more to come from him in the future.
-
I don't know what your theory is on building teams Grachan is mine is Continuty having a good team spirit and hopefully keeping the core of the team from the previous year.We have that now Nick,Adam,Zach, all shoe ins for next year Musielak,Batch Bellego could still feature depending on the rules.Swindon what a move that was keeping faith with Nick now we are reaping the rewards and he can still ride better this year hope Nick gets his testimonial at Swindon.

Looking at Poole's next 8 fixtures even with this line up i think they are well capable of winning six of those all is not lost.King's Lynn who arranged there fixtures?. again riders missing Kinsley (for Jorgensen) .
