Lakeside Vs Belle Vue, 21/9/16...
Perton Wolf replied to Ace no.5's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Belle Vue have a very good all round team, very strong away. Already won away at Poole and Wolves this season if I am correct? Not to mention R/R for their no1...... And why did Sophie Blake just say that people were surprised that BV picked Lakeside? Obvious choice for me ! -
And it's all falling apart, think we've had a meeting at Poole this season where we were 6 points down at the interval and ended up losing by 14 or so. Starting to increasingly look like that. Too big of a deficit to overturn at home as it stands, need 2 big heats now to keep this competitive for Monday.

Meeting starting to get away from us a bit now, could do with the reserves not getting battered in the next heat. Looked like Masters wasn't content with keeping 3rd so drifted wide looking for the dirtline and let Kurtz in, bit mind boggling that is. And it's all falling apart.....think we had a meeting at Poole this year where we were 6 or so points down at the interval and lost by 14 or so in the end. Looking increasingly like that.

Zagar throwing his toys out of the pram there, not happy but the rule is pretty clear ! -
Poole fans not happy with Howarth there but I assume Holder in heat 1 was absolutely fine?

Bomber To Leave Coventry
Perton Wolf replied to Perton Wolf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Find it hard to believe that Freddie would want to leave Wolves and vice versa. He's rode for us, 13 years or so consecutively now. Something major would have to change for that to not continue IMO. -
Good signing for Poole and it's fair enough if Hans doesn't ride in the upcoming GPs whilst the playoffs are running but if he does then it's a bit of a farce really.

http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3745 Where's he off to next? Wolves wouldn't be a bad fit for him, goes well round Monmore.......

Wolves V Coventry 12/09.
Perton Wolf replied to Tommy Sweetman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Disagree - Wolves could've won by a lot more but took their foot off the gas towards the end. I don't think Tai even took his R/R ride. -
Indeed - I'm hoping that Wolves can gatecrash the party but Belle Vue & Poole really do look a class above. No doubt Woffinden has helped to close that gap though...........

Wolverhampton V Poole. Elb. 5/9/17

Point for Poole - can't say they didn't deserve it. Thorsell simply awesome tonight, Lindgren beaten by Newman in the last heat :l Although, Newman did ride it well all evening. -

33 a piece after heat 11, only Wolves rider who looks comfortable is Thorsell. Masters doing OK too. Poole could very well win this and you couldn't complain if they did. -

Freddie's home woes continue so far, going from 1st after 2 laps to last in heat 7.
