  1. Nicholls score big round BV and Thorsell not do much? I don't think so. Not saying BV are completely out of it because they're not but comparing a Lakeside team without AJ to Wolves as an away outfit is a bit pointless really.
  2. I guess it comes down to defining the lines between team manager and a more team builder/promotor role. Adams clearly has great management skills but hasn't been a good team builder in the last few years before this one. Middlo at Poole with Ford seem to be the best team builders, with a generous inferpretation of the rulebook of course.
  3. We are usually strongest in the last 3 heats but a reserve race 5-1 is possible for BV. Don't expect Clegg to get much but hopefully Howarth can keep his good form going.
  4. Wolves would've finished top of the league if not for Joonaa scoring 0, it's all could's and should's.
  5. NSS is not as big of a home advantage as Monmore for starts. Not to mention a lot of our riders like the track. I'll be surprised if Woffinden is beaten by an opposing rider on Wednesday.
  6. Well rode Craig Cook there, a shame Freddie couldn't hang on but what a result! Still maintain we will ride BV close at the NSS so confident now.
  7. They usually only show small sections of the crowd to be fair. Good mixture here tonight but definitely more old than young overall. Speedway really needs to advertise itself better.
  8. No Tai, surprising......Thorsell looked quick in his last ride but I don't get that decision.
  9. Come on Freddie and Tai in the last, if disaster strikes a 12pt lead is bloody good but 20 would be fantastic.
  10. Freddie looked so fast Wednesday, seems to be lacking a bit of speed tonight.
  11. Wondering if the Ref has a BV top on to be honest. Worrall will keep on doing it too as he's getting away with it.
  12. Jacobs has never been much crack round the Green, I suspect he will be much better on Wednesday.
  13. So Steve Worrall stays in the race, does the exact same thing again but anticipates the start correctly with a bit of luck and wins the race. Predictable.
  14. I think we could go to BV and hold them close - my main concern there would be our reserves. Assuming Howarth rides well again, we really could do with a 10 point win tonight.
  15. In all seriousness, more meetings but on one designated race night across the league. Seems forever unlikely though so our league will continue to decline.
