I had the same... Lucky I got home and decided to catch up on the meeting otherwise I would have been well peed off. Decided to watch the highlights package from 8pm last night till 11pm so I recorded the last five heats on Sky+ only to get up this morning to find that the recording had used up 550 minutes of hard disk space!! Whats that about!

Right! Fickle Poles.....Gollob has a mare and he gets whistled/booed. Sweden or Oz are going to win this. England will win the cricket with a day to spare....

Agreed....WTF!

Southgate missed in 1996 Moving on.....I had a great time with my mate and our son's. I did a wonderful job of making my boy cringe whilst waving the Russian flag screaming Emil's name....mind you what a shocker HE had. I saw no evidence of trouble and the fans around me all took the flag waving in good humour. Again a great night out.

What would he do then? Tune their bikes up for them?, Ride for them? At the end of the day the riders are to blame much the same as the footballers and cricketers who constantly fail...as someone said failure in sport is a British speciality. Lynch..and I am not a fan..picked the five riders tonight mainly because they are Coventry past or present. We all know why we were shown up, because Denmark have 5..count em 5...GP riders..Sweden have 2 with 3 very good back up riders. TBH Simon Stead was poor tonight but I thought Olly Allen rode his bollocks off -

What do you expect when the Lynn team is full of Johnny Foreigners *cough* Czech Swede Aussie At least you have SOME English riders this year. Or dont you cheer for Millsy, Lee, Trundle and Compton?? Get real Andrew.....You telling me if Steve Boxall or Tai Woffinden chose to ride for Lynn you wouldn't support them cos they rode for Rye House?? OR is it because there are NO ex-Lynn riders in team GB???? -

Is this the same J000000000000nas Davidson people are always taking a pop at? He must have improved a lot As for Mr Saifutdinov.....saw him at Rye in the U21 QF on a SMALL track....knee deep in water....the guy was awesome, only getting beat by his compatriot Danil Ivanov. Cracking nights entertainment, and Well Done Eddie Kennett...nice to have an Ex Rocket in team GB -
Jon Armstrong? Andy Smith?

Did Old Muvva ride for Canterbury in 78? I thought he was still with the Rockets then? BTW Shazz, is he really your Unc? I remember Ted well, as a 13 year old, standing by the fourth bend at Rye watching Ted hammer up inside an opposing rider (fairly of course! ) sending them either sprawling thru the fence or the brave ones tried to battle on...Only to be excluded by Lew Stripp, then smash the trackside 'phone to peices....Oh those were the days Send him my regards will ya

Possibly one for Bryn..... I started going to Rye House back in the mid/late Seventies and fondly remember Brian Foote being our No1 in about '76? I know Uncle Ted Hubbard, Hughie Saunders etc.. came after Footie, I was just wondering if anyone knows the/a full Rye line up from 1976 ish? Ta

Agree with that. Dont remember much about PG, but LE and AS were around in my late 1970's stint at the House.

Yeah but Swedish in Swedish is not spelt 'Sweedish' My 'ed hurts I think it's 'Sverge' for Sweden, so does that make it 'Svergish' -

He had his hair blonde last year as well. Think it was the WTC or Pooles many Sky appearances.
