While I agree with the points in testimonials and friendlies not meaning a lot for a rider who had a lot of trouble last year to be mixing it in the final with fast Freddie was great to see and I hope he gets sorted a team -

Rew at 4 is a worry, he won't get a full season of underperforming again and with Riss looking like he's back to his best at Wrights testimonial could be an easy change down the line -
Why would D Thompson want to ride for Leicester anyway when you dropped him mid season. Looked good at Ipswich before he done his shoulder so glad he's back with us

I can't see Rowe or Kemp as surely we would've used them last year as rising star. I would go Barker over Hume imo I don't think he'd chuck away as many points as Hume does when he comes under pressure from opposing riders. Unless they punt for another 4 point assessed average man?

Ipswich v Sheffield play off final 1st leg

Always hard to get passing on a track like Foxhall when you have Emil and Jason who are so good around there. If they gate they're gone as they're usually so much quicker than anyone else. Even Danny when he's on song not many people would beat him. Didn't emil and jason both pass people to get a win as well in a couple of heats? Hume a reserve I saw pass a few riders (he binned it after) but still passed riders. Like someone else said with Britain every track is different which brings in the home advantage. How boring would it be if every track is like NSS. Get 1/2 good heats a meeting so not worth it. Have to say there's been a lot more passing at Foxhall this season than people who see the odd meeting on tv know about. -

Looking back at some of great riders that was in the GP’s 10-15 years ago do you think they’d be moaning about the track? Problem now the so called superstars can only ride slick tracks so when they come up against anything other than that they can’t handle it! Why shouldn’t Ipswich set up the track to suit them?
