  1. Definitely not tongue in cheek Doesn't matter what Steve Worrall scored in last 4 meetings playoffs/KO cup don't count for averages anyway. 7 is still a heat leader, especially if building teams to 38 points. No idea if Steve's been signed.
  2. When your losing 5½ points from this season's team average total then 2024 by comparison is going to look inferior. But Steve Worrall was definitely a heatleader, didn't you see him at 5 for Poole in playoff finals?
  3. That was where the final was originally scheduled to be. A three team final between Leicester, Poole and Glasgow in September 2022. Not far for Leicester and certainly more convenient for Poole and Glasgow fans to get to than travelling to than each others track. Took me 10 hours to drive to Poole for playoff final, could drive to Sheffield and back in less time.
  4. No fault of either club I'd say the exact opposite. They decided they didn't want a one off final at Sheffield last year. Then dilly-dallied around arranging fixtures, so didn't get it done last year. You would have thought it would have been easy enough to arrange a home and away challenge as a warm up for the new season but no we've got a one off meeting at Poole at the very end of this season. Wouldn't be surprised if it was rained off.
  5. Claus is only 37. Bomber will be 41 next month and no one is saying they don't want him back.
  6. 2019 when last at Glasgow. He was an 8 point average rider at home this year.
  7. Very surprised Claus isn't in their 2024 plans on a 6.24 average. A heatleader round Ashfield and better than that average away.
  8. Don't worry they'll just blade all the dirt off. Just like they do during meetings
  9. Think they are both giving up Championship so they can commit more to Poland. Josh said on a podcast he was riding at Armadale on a Friday night then driving to London to catch a flight to Poland to race on Saturday. Polish teams have practice sessions and they were missing those. On a plus side for us Championship fans if these top riders are giving up our league for Poland maybe we can get back to regular weekly home meetings instead of working round riders schedules.
  10. What like Sheffield? Where the originally scheduled final was supposed to take place in 2022 before Leicester and Poole decided they wanted to have a home leg
  11. Glasgow Tigers Supporters Group mark the anniversary https://twitter.com/GTSG_/status/1707795981952078289?t=AcCbWIwEwFRJq2uXQ1cGIA&s=19
  12. The Championship season pass was available before Christmas last year - with an early bird discount. I'm sure if the BSPL sort out the league structure at their November AGM then BSN will have packages available before Christmas.
  13. Glasgow are at Redcar on Wednesday. So Friday will be fine if weather wins on Tuesday
  14. Ben rode in the Danish league final on Wednesday, scored 13 from 6 rides. Claus didn't ride for Holsted but they have a squad and he doesn't always get selected
  15. Apparently he was over a fews weeks ago for a practice. He would be on a 5 point average though. Maybe he was being considered as a Nowak replacement or with a view to next season
  16. Presumably Oxford assumed they weren't going to win at Glasgow. And like Glasgow they already knew who Poole were going to pick.
  17. Well I was correctly told last night by a reliable source who Poole had picked and that Oxford would have selected Poole & Scunthorpe if they had topped the league.
  18. That's in Poland in the UK he averages less than Harris and Basso away from Peterborough. Glasgow will suit him fine but what about Oxford, Poole and Armadale?
  19. Masters and Nichols will not go through the card, more chance of Tarasenko getting an 18 point maximum. Brennan will find it easier riding at 2
  20. Poole will definitely pick Edinburgh, assuming they finish sixth, whoever finished sixth will probably lose all 4 of their meetings. And Glasgow given how poor they've been at Wimbourne Road. Tarasenko could score a maximum and they'll still lose but that's not going to happen, his away average for Peterborough is lower than Harris & Basso.
  21. Basso is riding for Bydgoszcz, he'll be at no.8 so not currently listed in lineup. But he's been riding there all season unlike Charles Wright
  22. PLYMOUTH: Kyle Howarth, Dan Gilkes R/R, Joe Thompson (guest), Justin Sedgmen (guest), Richie Worrall, James Pearson, Ben Trigger. Per britishspeedway.co.uk
