  1. Glasgow Tigers Supporters Group have Cardiff city centre hotel rooms available for Friday & Saturday night £250. But no parking at hotel. They can take card payments https://www.facebook.com/share/p/wAV8kQnN69EnKNSn/ PM me if not on Facebook
  2. Baek ran into Jenkins which caused him to leave the track then lift because he was on the grass, then taking out Thompson. Unbelievable that the ref watched replays and came to the conclusion that Jenkins caused Baek to fall. Also I thought the ref was only able to use video evidence if it was BSN or Eurosport. How does she watch a replay and decide Jack was at fault in heat 5? Re tac sub give that they passed up the opportunity to use a t/s in heat 10 do you not think they would have told Jack don't get a heat advantage in heat 11. The fact that Glasgow only scored 2 points from reserve irrespective of the refs performance was the reason they lost the meeting.
  3. No Italy are seeded direct to the final but Paco's average is higher than Leon's anyway.
  4. Ashton Boughen is at same meeting as Leon and Matic European Pairs qualifier in Germany
  5. You and Mr Godfrey probably think Scunthorpe have seniority over Glasgow. But Glasgow changed to Fridays in 2018 having agreed a deal with Edinburgh, opening in March. Scunthorpe then changed from Sundays for the 2018 season due to rider availability, opening in April. Had Glasgow not changed first they like Arena Essex and Workington would have been forced to move fixtures so Godfrey could get decent guests.
  6. Actually it does. Most times referees take the easy option when there's a first bend incident, all four back. Even though apparently it's not in the rule book. Without video evidence there's no way a referee can decide who moved in or out on the back straight. All he can do is use his speedway knowledge to decide who was the primary cause of the incident i.e. assume. All of which indicate Willie Dishington did not make any egregious decisions.
  7. Rob Godfrey having a whinge about Friday's meeting on BSPL website today. Don't think anyone else would be allowed to openly criticise the referee without sanction. As for the incidents he complains about: 1. Bomber fell on the first bend, most times the referee calls all four back. 2. Jack Smith might have moved but Connor Mountain's helmet touched the tapes. 3. Heat 14 Mountain and Ivacic's bikes locked together on the back straight and they fell on 3rd bend. From the refs box there's no way he can see who's moved in or out but he can assume that Mountain's footrest has stuck in Ivacic's bike. Therefore Mountain is the primary cause of the stoppage. Sour grapes from Godfrey.
  8. Steve said Manchester was the wrong end of the country. My point was for the majority of active speedway supporters it's not. FYI Manchester is about 200 from Poole and similar from Glasgow where I've travelled from. I wished there was more tracks not just in the south but all over the UK. I remember way back in the day when there was more teams in the National League than there is venues now
  9. Oh let's just stage it at Poole then. But wait they don't have a race track! How many speedway tracks are there in the south? Far less than up north
  10. You're only just realising that, it was obvious a month ago. Still you realised it before Cami
  11. If a rider didn't start the season in a Championship team but rode in Premiership then they come in on the 1.5 multiplayer. I.e Basso 6.57 would be 9.85
  12. SCB hearing set for mid May, read somewhere 14th. Glasgow signed Jack Smith last week for 28 days to cover Lee's suspension as guest facility was ending.
  13. Oxford v Glasgow was always scheduled to be on BSN tonight
  14. Think it was better than that in all competitions - 12 home, 12 away. In 83.33% of home meetings and 83.33% of away meetings Claus scored more than the 5 point average he was signed on. 2 bad meetings at home and 2 away
  15. Tom's average is too high to replace Leon. Rather have Claus anyway. I was told Claus still flies into Aberdeen on a Friday for Workington's Saturday afternoon meetings and it's a Glasgow fan that picks him up
  16. SCB confirm positive test Complin banned for 30 days. Guest facility for 28 days
  17. Because the caution flying shale signs weren't enough to stop one person threatening legal action after being hit by a stone. So ruined it for everyone else
  18. Plymouth allow fans to cross pits access/exit to get to their grandstand in between races, there's stewards there to stop people until bikes leave track/once the two minutes come on.
  19. Factually he slide off in his first ride on the final bend when tailed off. Completed two more rides in which he scored. Then he withdrew from the meeting on medical advice, thus insuring Plymouth could use guests or R/R all season
  20. Fact Tarasenko was available to everyone in the Championship, it was within the rules. Birmingham tried to sign him. Glasgow actual tried to sign Peterborough's other Pole Patryk Wojdylo but then it was found that he didn't even have the right visa to ride for Peterborough. So they then enquired about Tarasenko and because his Polish team had not made the playoffs he agreed to ride for Glasgow.
  21. Given that he's signed for Ekstraliga 2 (old Div.1) side Krosno in Poland I doubt it.
  22. He better be a lot better than last season for Birmingham. I saw him twice: home v Glasgow (think it was his first meeting back) 3 points and last meeting of their season where he was especially poor v Plymouth 3 points where he twice beat NL guest Matt Marson and barged his way through Ben Trigger.
