At least one person is happy about the decision
-
I've just checked them Sue. Think that may be a last resort as cheapest I could get was £119 per room.
-
Struggling to find rooms at the mo. A few more expensive one's are there but travelodge etc seem to have all gone already!
-
Charles says the tickets have arrived and we are in L35, so not too far from you Sandie. Temple Bar or Flamingo sounds good to me
-
I'm sure we're sat near you too Sandie and of course are in the same hotel so add 4 more to that list.. and to the list of the bars
-
Any chance you could do something about that bloke you took with you getting p'd and ringing me at 1.30am
-
For Poole?? you won't need to take much Sandie
-
I knew you'd post if I got it wrong
-
I'm bitter at anything Leicester City do too Hazzman As for the seats Sandie, i'm not sure. I didn't book them. I seem to remember Charles saying something about the 2nd bend???
-
We've bought £45 tickets now because of them selling out of the £30 tickets
-
As official van driver how come no one told me?
-
You must have money to burn Em.. the beers are on you if that's the case!
-
We'll be in the same position as you then Sandie I think. I'm tending to think the £45 tickets might be the best option
-
Flights sorted but no accomodation sorted yet.. I think Dusseldorf is looking good at the moment. Tried to see if I could book 4 of the £30 seats together and it said it wasn't possible.. have they sold out does anyone know?? might be standing at this rate
-
I booked flights for myself and 3 others yesterday flying from Birmingham into Cologne/Bonn on the Friday. I had a quick look for accomodation in Cologne yesterday but it looks as if they have some sort of convention on in the City that weekend, as there are either no rooms, or prices seem very expensive. It might be worth us doing the same as you Magpie and looking to stay outside Cologne. Do you have a link for the group train ticket?

If you wanted to give money away all you had to do was say, i'd have taken it off you -
Poor you Gambo.. I bet Mr Roberts dragged you in there kicking and screaming didn't he?
-
Sky+ Sandie.. it's the future!
-
I was lied to.. I was told it was 4th bend on the third tier, only to find myself on the 2nd bend in the third tier. Chivs and Mummyfairy have some explaining to do
-
I could be wrong, but in most years they've only had about 5 days to get the track down.. That's from scratch. It may have been different this year with no football matches being played the weekend's before?

Just got back from a great weekend. Bomber was brilliant last night, and i'll only echo everybody else's comments on Bomber & Scotty's perfomances and that the racing was the best we've seen for a long time. A big well done to the trackstaff for getting that track laid in such a short space of time. It did get a bit bumpy towards the end, but that was to be expected. Don't think i've ever seen so many Polish fans at a British event either, we were surrounded by loads of them.. they soon quietened down when Bomber won though Well done Chris and his team
