But don't Oxford own their stadium, whereas Poole have to pay extortionate rent to a rogue landlord every time that they want to put a meeting on. If there was a justified business case to run an NDL team then I'm sure they would.

Just for all the doubters.

I’m afraid it is true. Poole were offered Tarasenko before he signed for Glasgow. Matt didn’t want to sack Kyle Newman in order to bring him in.

The team isn't finalised yet, as the average limit hasn't been fully agreed yet. Some teams are struggling and have been asking for an increase over the current 38. (unless things have changed this week)

If the race nights remain at Thursday

Apart from last year then?

I believe Ben is aiming to be fit and ready for next Wednesdays meeting at home to Scunthorpe. He is not planning to rush back his return to racing.

Yes, he came out of hospital on Friday evening.

Ben is keen to be back racing as soon as possible. He definitely doesn't think his season is over.

Just got a text message from Ben saying that he’s feeling a “bit rough today” Think that must a bit of an understatement! But glad he’s not seriously injured.

I’ve heard it will be Wright for Cook on Saturday.

Yes, via BSN

No

Compassionate leave, he lost a close friend and mechanic of 20 yrs last week.

They are, but also getting stitched up by the landlord on an annual basis. If the Prem was to move to Wednesday nights then things might change.

I know, but that doesn’t bring income into Poole Speedway.

Why would you change your business model to make less money? Don’t forget Poole Speedway is the Ford’s main business. It’s not like they have another business which pumps money into the speedway to subsidise it like other promotions may have.

To be fair Steve, Poole were offered Tarasenko before Glasgow but they turned it down as they didn’t think it fair to get rid of Kyle Newman at the time.

STF - subject to fitness??

Ben Cook is turning out to be a superb racer and he's a great lad too

Probably both Holders and Magic to start with, along with Lawson and Ben Cook I imagine, should we ever return to the Premiership.

I believe that 2 lorry loads of the Wolverhampton Monmore Green shale has gone on the track so far this season.
