The problem with today's meeting was the result was always known before the start, and you could predict most races would finish Poland, Denmark, Russia, Czechs. There was some good racing, especially in the middle of the meeting. Like others have said the Poles had no problem passing inside & outside and they don't like slick tracks!

Maybe two 3 team tournament meetings, could race proper team speedway in pairs then, 6 in a team.

No offence to Czechs & Finns but do we need a new format for the world cup with 6 teams instead of 8?

Event 1 isn't in HD. Event 2 tomorrow, raceoff & final is though.

LOL Kennett!! Who has been terrible this year. That is the team I would have pick too, if anyone might have come in for Stead it should be Daniel King.

We were on third bend top tier and couldn't understand a word being said, PA was terrible. To me it seemed like the speakers on the ceiling were not working, all the sound was coming from the speakers on the floor. As others have said very poor entertainment beforehand but the racing was superb and that's when we go for really.

You couldn't see the top tier on home straight though that was empty, watch it on sky, also at the start of the heats when the lineup comes up look at all the empty blocks. I don't think it was 10,000 down, I'd say about 38000-40,000.

Crowd was down on other years no way a record, if you looked carefully, they were lots of blocks in the bottom tier on the bends that were completely empty which had not been sold, also top tier on home straight was empty. We were on top tier on third bend row 16 and the first 14 rows in front of us were completely empty like the tickets had been reserved till some people realised and moved into them at the start. On sky they just focus on middle tier on back straight where they give the free flags out which is full.

Not the best racing of the season but very entertaining GP. Holder & Pedersen spat their dummies out lol

Correct and you will find the ones sold by most tracks are flammable.

Yes I noticed that, they showed it few times, was hoping referee wasn't using that to make his decision!

Has anyone bought tickets on the lower tier on the bends? Doesn't seem to be any available on seetickets, would expect them to be in the £40 category, spoke to someone at seetickets and they said tickets have not been released by the promotor for those sections, does that mean lower tier bends will be empty?
