20mm of rain forecast for Saturday, Sunday looks bit better but still some rain.

Looking at weather, looks like could be a repeat of Croatia, looks like it will pour down all day on Saturday.

Someone at track says it's off now, 12 tomorrow.

Completely different systems, virgin use fibre optic broadband through special cables that your tv comes down too, sky use BT phonelines. I pay a little more but have the best of both worlds, use Virgin for broadband and telephone line and SKY for TV.

No the meeting starts at 3pm in Denmark (2pm here). SKY are starting at 1.30 but goes off at 2.30 presuming switching to red button as live sport on all 4 sports channels.

Ah yes showing now. Yep looks like red button which means people can't record it also no HD.

Does anyone know if practise went ahead yesterday? Presuming it didn't with all the rain they had yesterday.

Yes Vojens is the only track I think that has purpose designed track covers, they had them specially made last year, cost about £20,000 apparently. Can't just put loads of dirt down though covered up with no watering as would just be load of dust.

Vojens is always slick doesn't matter if Denmark qualify or not, GB will have to improve their gating. The other thing that always happens at Vojens is the rain!

Since track as got slicker racing has got lot better.

Only thing that is keeping this interesting is the close score. Wish they would stop going on about how good the track is, racing was better at Gorzow yesterday.

Looks like Kings Lynn been lucky with the rain, 2 lots of rain gone either side over Peterborough & Norwich.

Why don't you read previous comments and would know that Olsen has nothing to do with GP & SWC tracks apart from Copenhagen & Cardiff.

The problem with today's meeting was the result was always known before the start, and you could predict most races would finish Poland, Denmark, Russia, Czechs. There was some good racing, especially in the middle of the meeting. Like others have said the Poles had no problem passing inside & outside and they don't like slick tracks!

Maybe two 3 team tournament meetings, could race proper team speedway in pairs then, 6 in a team.

No offence to Czechs & Finns but do we need a new format for the world cup with 6 teams instead of 8?

Event 1 isn't in HD. Event 2 tomorrow, raceoff & final is though.
