  1. Loads of parking around, you can use the park and ride from the outskirts, there are multi storeys in the centre which you have to pay about £10 for, we personally park on side streets other side of the river and walk across.
  2. Will have a look at the semis again, but it didn't calculate the count back rights, eg the 4 rides on 8 points, it had one with 1 win higher then those with 2 wins.
  3. Used this app during the GP, during the heats it worked great but then after the 20 heats when there were ties eg on 8 points it didn't calculate them correctly then it doesn't put the riders in for the semi finals?
  4. The exchange rate doesn't help either I remember going to Denmark few years ago and exchange was about 13 krone to the pound, now its 8.
  5. http://www.amazon.co.uk/2009-Speedway-Gran...3542&sr=1-1
  6. Similar to Cardiff not really any bad seats just preference on how much you want to pay. Here is seating diagram that shows price bands : http://speedwaygp.com/image/stad_plan/goth...adium_plan).gif When we went we sat in block D on back straight lower tier which is second cheapest price band.
  7. I'm sure its normally out by now being advertised for Christmas, maybe not doing it this year?
  8. We have been to Vojens lots and lots of times and love it! Apart from Cardiff & Copenhagen its pretty much like other basic gp venues. The big sausages I think are the nicest I've tried in the world and I've tried a lot! As for drinks, every GP venue they search bags for drinks and take them off you, nothing to do with Vojens, all you have to do hide them in your coat.
  9. For those not seen Speedway Star today here is pic of Jason's arm : Rght on the bicep/inner elbow, very nasty. Scanned from Speedway Star so presume its a Mike Patrick photo.
  10. Think that is normal capacity, but looked like they had put in a lot of temporary grandstands in for last night on back straight and second bend. Looked like a decent crowd, more then they use to get at Lonigo.
  11. LOL What a load of rubbish, Crump was 46 points ahead of Pedersen BEFORE Pedersen got injured!!! Crump was on the podium in the first 5 GP's, winning 3 of them. Pedersen made podium for first time last night, he has had a crap year well before he was injured. If Gollob pulls back the 17 points which is very achievable round that track then good luck to him but nothing to do with Pedersen!
  12. cheers just noticed on speedwaygp site now, says he going to have injections tomorrow.
  13. So does anyone know if Jason Crump practised today?
  14. Holder and Hampel were predictable but can't believe Zetterstrom will be GP rider! He will be totally outclassed!
  15. Can't believe for the second GP in a row wasn't being transmitted in Widescreen either! Like being the Dark ages watching something not in widescreen.
  16. Thank God for the ruts! Would have fell asleep if not for them!
  17. I noticed on Sky planner, Slovenian GP is only on for 1 hour this week on Sky Sports Extra then its Live Spanish Football, presume it must switch to red button again
  18. Can't really help with the tickets but wouldn't surprise me if they have just released the more expensive ones first, I'm sure they did the same 2 years ago with the German GP and released cheaper tickets later. Regards Czech GP, they only announce the big indoor GP's early, others like Czech will be announced when full calendar is announced end of October usually.
  19. Got back from Vojens last night had a close look at the track covers. Spoke to someone apparently they cost £20,000. They have been made to exactly to size of the contours of the track, each panel is numbered. They are made out of thick heavy duty plastic, there was thick piece of velcro holding each piece together but down the egdes there was steel rope sewn into the cover to weigh the edge down so wind doesn't lift edges up. They did great job, they carefully pulled each section from the outside onto the centre green so all the water ran onto the grass then pulled it back over the track and lifted it over the fence. Track was bone dry underneath. Personally thought they should have given it a quick water before the racing started as it was dusty. If they hadn't had the covers no chance the meeting would have been on the amount of rain there was during the day.
  20. Use to be like that in the early GP's in mid nineties.
  21. From Poole across to Southampton, up A34 onto M40 then come off at either banbury and up A423 or Warwick and up A46, should take about 2 and half hours.
  22. Am surprised by the reserves, especially after Hougaard & Klindts performance in world cup. Am going to this, due the terrible exchange rate couldn't believe the price of tickets, £40 for standing!
  23. Shame they had just bit too much rain too close to start time, I remember in 2005 first GP there they had a shower before start time and track was brilliant, great racing. Tonight track didn't settle in till heat 16, if racing had started then would have been a great night. Crump's got the Championship sealed, battle of Gollob & Hancock for 2nd & third. Sayfutdinov dropping like I thought he would.
