  1. Yep, thought it was suppose to be not going back to Parken?
  2. I suspect you may get Wolbert and Ostergaard at Belle Vue but Dryml is riding in Czech league and I very much doubt Zagar & Zetterstrom will ride in it.
  3. and Leicester website calls it an "inter-league challenge"
  4. How on earth can this be called a Belle Vue team??? Leicester: 1. Magnus Karlsson, 2, Jan Graversen, 3. Ryan Fisher, 4. Lasse Bjerre, 5. Kevin Doolan, 6. Alex Edberg,7. Simon Nielsen Belle Vue: 1. Craig Cook, 2. Jozsef Tabaka, 3. Richard Lawson, 4. Thomas Jorgensen, 5. Rene Bach, 6. Ryan Douglas, 7. Steve Worrall
  5. Yes it was, pretty sure it was this meeting must be the heat 10 that is missing http://vimeo.com/72478918 When he retired he moved to Florida to set up a swimming pool business, don't know if he still there or not.
  6. Can get Birmingham +2 at Betvictor 4/5 or off scratch at multiple sites at 10/11
  7. Most clubs you can't pay by card, as with most things speedway, living in the dark ages!
  8. Nice bit of advertising for speedway on Eurosport on homepage of Xbox 360 : http://www.bellevuearmy.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=135&d=1373872416 http://www.bellevuearmy.co.uk/attachment.php?attachmentid=136&d=1373872422
  9. They get around 15,000 at Vojens which I bet costs a fracton of the cost of Parken to run. Doubt many people actually stay in Vojens, towns of Haderslev & Kolding are only 20-30 mins away and are decent. Been going to Vojens since 1999 and seen poor meetings & great meetings. Funny enough some of the better meetings have been when there has been plenty of rain during the day so the track produces some grip instead of being hard & slick. The facilities are not fantastic but ok and its a good atmosphere.
  10. The different type of dirt where it comes from, can't exactly ship it over from Denmark to Cardiff. The reason Nigel was saying it won't be back next year was due to Eurovision, this site says Eurovision has been ruled out there : http://www.eurovision.tv/page/news?id=eurovision_will_not_return_to_parken_in_2014
  11. With last night being reported as the last GP at Copenhagen, will it return to Vojens next year?
  12. http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/steve-brandon/18/694/1b9
  13. Paul Bellamy said at Methanol Club at Cardiff that USA was looking 50/50 as struggling to find a date for the stadium that would fit in. He said a GP in Melbourne, Australia at the Etihad Stadium was looking more likely as the guy in charge of that stadium use to be in charge of Millenium Stadium.
  14. It was known last week it was 12 July as See Tickets had tickets for sale last week if you looked carefully on their website.
  15. They are better forgetting practise, not make it any worst any try and get it ready for tomorrow.
  16. I know you are sorted now but buying tickets online close to event is waste of time. last year I looked at booking tickets about week before in upper tier and it only offered me few blocks best it said was about row 25, went to the ticket office on the day and got tickets on row 3!
  17. We have 2-4 tickets together for sale for Cardiff, they are Lower tier tickets on home straight that cost £78 each, selling 2 for £80, 3 for £100 or 4 for £120 ono Email me at rbecking@yahoo.com
  18. It is going to be more like Bydgoszcz & Leszno with little details the same as Hyde Road like the straights won't be straight, they will have bit of a kink in them.
  19. Definitely, already been confirmed there will be purpose made covers made for the track same as Vojens.
  20. I agree with most of what you say, difference is though current track runs once a week (if that), new track they are wanting to run 7 days a week training academy, residents might have a problem with that. Hopefully there will be some some sort of compromise on times.
  21. You are right, Chris Morton did say at a fans meeting there wasn't enough room for full size pitch in centre. Maybe things have changed? I hope they have not compromised the track shape to fit it in as the track shape was designed first and everything else was designed around it.
  22. 6000 is the basic capacity, for SWC temporary grandstands will be put on back straight raising capacity to 10,000 and for GP's extra stands put on bends too raising it to 16,000 (off top of my head) This is the report being discussed today : http://bellevuespeedway.net16.net/bellevuesportsvillage.pdf
