Belle Vue -V Sheffield POSFs
Rob B replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That Woffinden engine he been riding last few weeks has given up. -
Vojens has never been the best track for racing but it usually better then last night. I was there and the track ‘grading’ was extensive, they seemed to be concerned about it breaking up and were constantly tyre packing it every 4 heats which meant no dirt line developing. Don’t know why they were having track issues as it’s an established track but having practise 4 hours before hand can’t help.

Typical Sheffield, although track was different tonight and didn't have to ride right out by the fence as usual. -

Well done King's Lynn, confirms the farce of the play off choices. Some good racing for Lynn. -
Time to sack Phil Morris?
Rob B replied to RoundTheBoards's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No, if they did it as it stand then would be Sheffield v Ipswich. They have assumed that Leicester will win both meetings next week and face Ipswich. -
What happens if Leicester v Sheffield final, both Thursday night tracks. How decide who has 2nd leg? Will it be Leicester if they assuming they top?

Time to sack Phil Morris?

If this week was a hard cut off then kings Lynn and Leicester should have arranged them for off nights like Lynn did this week. But again if it’s cut off then and want to know the play off teams now then use the current positions. can’t assume Leicester will win both meetings. -

Belle Vue V Sheffield - Mon 26th @ noon
Rob B replied to GeneralMelchett's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He broke ribs in Poland last week (see video on this thread), something must have also happened in Poland on Sunday as he arrived at Belle Vue yesterday morning in lot of pain but said would give it a go, anyone who was there could see he wasn’t the usual Kurtz round NSS and only took his 4 programmed rides. Afterwards he was taken to hospital with breathing difficulties so obviously couldn’t ride at Sheffield. He has now withdrawn from Swedish playoff meeting tonight too. -

It wasn’t the announcer, and it wasn’t before green light his clutch was dragging and as soon as revved up pulled forward. Even if was before green light still would have been excluded for delaying the start probably. -
King’s Lynn postponed original meeting couple of week ago due to riders missing and rearranged for next Wednesday and have just as many missing now as Kvech riding in Czech league and Iversen riding in Danish league plus Basso out. But as it only meeting on a Wednesday they have pick of all guests so will probably be stronger now.
