If Cook hadn’t run wide in heat 14 to let Pickering through then superheat wouldn’t have been needed.

There’s many things we could point out over the 2 legs, but we didn’t lose on aggregate. Sheffield won 1 race to win it having the advantage of being at home for that 1 race and choice of gates.

2 riders missing, they make it sound like over half the team is missing. Weren’t Wolves made to go to Sheffield last year with 4 riders missing eventually rained off.

These lunch time meetings always have strange tracks conditions which have often caught Belle Vue out. Today track started grippy and deep then it moved to outside leading to grippy fast outside line then last 3 heats sun came out and it went dry and dusty.

He was good in first two rides then injured his hand in third ride, presumably did it at Kings Lynn?

Milik and Lampart average dropping in last week helped there.

The tv broadcast starts at 7.00 tonight instead of the usual 7.30 so should start on time. weather doesn’t look too bad to me, 50% chance of light rain later and will be dry all day so track should easily be able to take it?

The problem is every meeting has a practise same day so thats equivalent of 8 meetings over 4 days which is a lot of wear on the track.

And Kings Lynn is not exactly small either.

Like I said earlier Douglas lot better then King round the NSS and scored lot better then King would have. obviously Doyle was missed but 4 of the Ipswich riders were very poor

Yet better racing in last 2 heats than there was in 15 heats at Leicester last week.
