Wolves v Belle Vue League Cup 18th April 2022
Rob B replied to Beowulf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wasn’t there last night but reading the updates site I understand there was rain beforehand which effected the track. Heat 1 Etheridge fell bend 4 and was injured why did it take till heat 3 for Douglas to fall on same bend for extensive track work to be done? -

He’d be 2nd in averages so in theory should be, but wouldn’t surprise me if Kurtz was used. -

About 1500-1600 I’d say which is on the poor side but expected. -

Liga 1 can ride in two other leagues, ekstraliga is one other league. -

Nothing could be predicted from sick note Cook, he is very inconsistent, last time round NSS for Ipswich in 2021 he scored 5. Musielak wouldn't have scored more then 7, has never done in his previous visits and was lot worst last week. Ignoring heat 14 5-1 then Why stupid, Wright was top scorer and was very fast in heat 14, you have already stated above that Fricke was poor. Gate 1 was one of the worst gates, only 1 win all meeting, gate 3 was the better gate. -

It was announced it was a short term signing, this won’t be the team in a month so how you can predict will be bottom of the league. -

Didn’t know league was decided in first month of season. Not even running league meetings! -

Musielak wasn't great in his meetings for Swindon at NSS either, scored 4 & 7. -

Season opener is also much better then end of October, especially last year when it was after the high of the SoN. -

2800 last night good crowd but play offs have had similar if not more, SoN last year was bigger, south stand was sold out for that and 3rd and 4th bends were used too then. -
Don't need visa to practise and didn't have visa when he did Peter Craven last year and couple of other individuals.

The problem with all pairs events is you only see your team's pair in 5 heats, one off meeting on neutral track not too bad but can see this series being a white elephant. 4TT would have been better.

Wasn’t on borrowed equipment, brought his own over.

Paul Bowen had previously announced he was retiring due to work commitments etc. Looks like he's not completely retiring but don't think he wants to commit for a season.

Poor team, no improvement possible in the top 5, relying on inexperienced reserves for improvement.
