  1. There has been some people interested but won’t be in 2021, they looking at 2022z
  2. It’s not inches, it’s at least the minimum 2 metres.
  3. I think it depends on the distance between the track and spectators, at Belle Vue and Stoke where there was a greyhound track in between, the 6ft catch fence wasn't required.
  4. It was compared to Kings Lynn, Kings Lynn is a solid concrete wall with steel in front of it.
  5. I think its slightly narrower but not that much.
  6. Not quite, its steel rope with steel plate in front of it.
  7. There is the minimum distance required but will need some big pads on the supports.
  8. It's been over 23 years now, the last season in 1997 they won the league and the crowds were poor then, I cant see there being an appetite now. Maybe for one off bigger meetings.
  9. Yep that was my point, they haven't released a date so will hopefully reconsider.
  10. BSI already announced its going to be October next year too.
  11. Hopefully this will convince BSI not to have it in October again next year as planned. May too early though, needs to be July/August.
  12. I really don’t know why they bothering in these damp conditions, just run it tomorrow.
  13. Forecast has improved, now 50% chance of rain from 15.00
  14. Manchester is completely dry this weekend and warmer!
  15. So wet, tonight won’t go ahead and tomorrow will be worst. Sunday looks ok can see it being run then
  16. With the poor weather for Saturday too wouldn’t surprise me if this becomes a one day meeting now tomorrow in front of fans.
  17. What is the point of taking Harris, he would only be having 1 ride each day as Bewley will be taking the majority so might as well take Kemp.
  18. Peter Craven Memorial announced for 22nd October.
  19. Yes that’s what I meant it was always a strange choice with a reduced capacity but always the risk it could be limited more.
  20. Which makes the choice of Lublin with one of the lowest capacity strange.
  21. I presume Bewley will move up, Kemp will be the U21 reserve and Palin would be on standby to ride in day 2 if there was an injury.
  22. in 2019 NL Palin averaged 8.82, Rowe averaged 8.37.
  23. I'm not sure where you have got that about initial costs, Belle Vue were using an external company who are being paid. I didn't see the Edinburgh and Plymouth streams but I would guess they didn't have a setup like this with multiple people working those computers, plus at least 5 cameras with 4 camera operators etc, not cheap.
  24. Why is all the discussion about tv deals. From what I understand this announcement was that Eurosport EVENTS have taking over the running and promoting of SGP/SoN etc from BSI in 2022. I presume Eurosport will take over the tv deal aswell eventually but that is secondary and the big debate should be how Eurosport Events will promote these series in future.
