Wolves v Sheffield 7th June 2021
SSL84 replied to Beowulf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
At 900 wolves would be losing money, same as your track bell vue at 1200 will be losing money. If all the covid restrictions are not lifted on the 21st June there will be lots of tracks in trouble. Imo. -
A lot of meetings at different tracks the racing as been crap, do people think that it could be down to the new tyres??

The track at Birmingham when prepared good can produce some good racing too, especially if they get a good outside working. -

The last few years the track at redcar as always been well prepared and always will be to produce good racing. -

Get it right both team's was not happy with the track, so don't just blame redcar's riders THATS FACT. -
The wolves kerbs are 50mm above the track as per the rule book states. So nothing out of spec.

Peterborough v Sheffield - Mon 24th May

Think the last time that was used was the elite riders championship at Birmingham, it worked well but think H&S stopped it being used, something to do with the amount of big gas bottles or something. -

Correct Neil the last i remember i think ronnie Russell had them? I know some tracks that share with greyhounds wouldn't be allowed to leave them down for a few days. -

Think back to this time last year, we was in a heat wave and stuck at home, now we can go to speedway the weather beats it? -
Like I've said you will have the same problem as wolves when they start putting afternoon bags meetings on a Wednesday which they have already said they want to do. As that what being's in the most money,
-
See what happens at Birmingham when the new owners put dog meetings on a Wednesday and how it will affect speedway? And at wolves they are not locked out as you say, work goes on all day on the track, it just riders are nor allowed in the pit area till after the last race.

Think the reason that nothing as been put on the was the club only just had clearance from the council now thats all in place the club can go ahead with ticket sales.

Championship League Predictions
SSL84 replied to W9 Lion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Are you sure of that? No matter what RG says a rider will go where they want too. -
Thanks thought it was but was not sure with the shorter league this season.
-
Think it was always going to be play offs for this season. Think it's top four, but not 100%.
-
If redcar can get jake over here the team will be hard to beat IMO. And be in the top 3?
-
True for this year and beyond.
-
How many times as it got to be said there will not be any speedway this year or next year.
-
There is only one track in the Midlands that run practice that's Leicester not sure when.
