  1. dull to the point were one could have turned it off and not missed it in the slightest.
  2. Even rider of the night Leon Flint called it very one liney.
  3. The quality of on track entertainment tonight is pretty dire. This has been repeated too often on televised speedway this season for me personally, just not a good advert. When Lewis Kerr can score 9+1 in the 'Premiership' and only 2 for Poole at Worky on Saturday in the so called 2nd tier Championship it makes you wonder. Difficult to hear Kelvin call that racing there wasn't much of that.
  4. Even a panic attack can cause a high heart rate. I remember Peter Karlsson who rode for the Comets at the time having tachycardia at one meeting. It was eventually put down to him having drunk 6 tins of Red Bull 🤣
  5. Unexpected win today against the league leaders. Thought 44-46 but was delighted to be wrong. Some cracking close races with every point being scrapped for, which is how it should be. It takes two teams to make an entertaining meeting and Poole played their part so thank you. It was the Comets fantastic start that ultimately proved too much to overcome on this occasion which was nice after being put to the sword at home twice last season by the Pirates. Congrats to the mechanics, not one mechanical failure during the meeting. Thank you to members of the wider Speedway fraternity who turned up to show their support for the Comets, it was much appreciated. Let's hope we can get the message to more local people to give it a go while trying to improve the quality of entertainment on offer during the 2hours or so of the meeting. It was great to see the riders coming round today almost without exception when winning races. Congrats to the Comets on a solid team performance without exception- brill ! That performance was just reward for Andrew Bain who has had a tumultuous couple of weeks, thank you.
  6. Easily Tate's best performance of the season at the GT Tyres Arena. Looked like the 2024 Tate today, really great to see him racing so well again.
  7. as a team they are doing just fine looking at those averages.
  8. I think this idea has been mooted before but I don't know if Stoney has ever been approaced officially. Carl had a great following at Worky, even had his own fan club.
  9. Howay Geoff , go down with heat stroke man , the only remedy for which is methanol fumes and cold Comets lager 👌
  10. What perplexes me most of all are the number of fans who followed the Comets pre 2019 some regularly away from home who have not as yet returned . It maybe just proves that if you get out of the habit a return is even less likely.
  11. The experience plus the 1/2 and 3/4 match ups are in the Pirates favour for sure. I'm hoping we can keep it tighter, we will see. UTC !
  12. suspend him for 2 weeks and deduct 2 months wages.😉
  13. isn't that just pants, efficiency costs nothing just good management and communication.
  14. Shocking if true for someone in his position.
  15. Believe he is the daily manager of the SCB.
  16. Its fair to say most members on this forum would like to know which rule was broken and how . Must have been pretty bad for a 2 week suspension and 2 point deduction. Don't think Worky would have any objection to discloure.
  17. Quote the regulation you are using please with an explanation as to why/how this speedway regulation was broken.
  18. No it doesn't !. In the interests of SCB credibility and transparency it most definitely should.
  19. Nicolai is still the track record holder I believe, set on 5th September 2014 55.18 secs. 11 years ago and nobody gone faster !.
