  1. Needs to complete 6 applicable meetings to get a proper average.
  2. Viv Muddle will be 16 in February but does he qualify to come in on a 2point average through parentage? . There was a competitor in the Aussie Champs who Dick Barrie mentioned had parentage, not 100% sure but think it was Ben Whalley who I believe is from New Zealand, unfortunately he didn't impress. I thought Max Perry had lots of potential in 2023 when riding for Leicester Lion Cubs but he hasn't really kicked on so far. I did think our final two may have been Danyon Hume and Max but turns out I was way off 😃.
  3. Yeah, bigger ask for Vinnie this coming season for sure unless team average drops and we can strengthen up if we need to.
  4. Yeah , looks like Lambo may have been given back word.
  5. Something must have happened because he stated on 360 weeks earlier that he had a team.place.
  6. I think it will be Lambo. He has signed for a club and really only Scunny left.
  7. Good punt for me. I liked the look of Reid in the Aussie Champs, small tidy rider with a racing instinct.
  8. Couldn't agree more Paul. He probably isn't back solely down to his away form on many tracks after 2 full seasons. He was full value at the GT Tyres arena for sure.
  9. why Geoff ?, the points limit was set for 3 years at last seasons AGM.
  10. Shame Jacob hasn't as yet secured a UK team place but Speedway is a dynamic sport injuries and all so something may yet transpire throughout the season. The continued reduction in teams doesn't help either. Really need a few more tracks but that is another story. Would like to see Comets have an NDL team this coming season if affordable, also more taster sessions for youngsters wanting to try out the sport, but this is a big commitment time wise and financially and there is little help with costs for any such initiatives.
  11. Same man could still do a job I reckon.
  12. May have nothing to do with the team structure that statement though. Depends whether you class the signing of Cookie as exciting news ? Probably divide opinion that one.
  13. I looked at this after the possibility of him being a possible signing was first mooted on here, appeared to be no clashes with good fixture planning.
  14. Probably , i mean the 8% a year must mean a convenient average reduction for someone he wants to fit in.
  15. Apparently standard rounding conventions dictate that a digit is only rounded up if the subsequent digit is 5 or greater. in this case the 4th decimal place is 0 so the preceding digit ie the 3rd decimal place 5 remains the same.
  16. So much for the point of view that it is already pre decided in teams meetings and just needs rubber stamping 😂
  17. Not totally sure but I think 3 decimal places are only used for hierarchial order of riders within a team .
  18. Still checking the diary 😃
  19. Silence is deafening from the AGM ?
  20. Certified fuel on sale at the track and tyre inspections pre meeting.
  21. This just reinforces the need for change to the cost structure of the sport. For example why should promoters be liable for supplying riders tyres fuel and oil ? . Such things are hard to understand bearing in mind the attendances at many tracks.
  22. No it isn't and I'm sure this is a factor. With one league there would be enough fixtures to keep fans happy as well as riders who do not regularly have a Premiership/Championship club. It will also be a lower financial burden for promoters than 2H2A.
