  1. From B'ham forum...new averages from July 1st gives us 4.78 for a replacement for the injured J.T (out for 6 weeks and not likely to make much of an impact on return, based on previous performances...) Paul Starke on 4.44 ???
  2. Agreed! ....I was just adding a touch of humour, but now you mention the other areas, I think we can also add Handsworth/Lozells etc etc etc...... proper rough!
  3. I think they should leave the '10 mins walk to West Brom Town centre', out of the advertisement
  4. Well that's a big improvement/compliment for 'us' (B'ham), if you only 'think' that it will be a home win coz Pickering/Cook are back ? I think, B'ham will run em close tonight!
  5. P.s Going back to the 'topic'...Batch definitely moved in his first heat...was expecting a re-start and a warning! (not that it matters now)
  6. I think both Thompson's places are at risk? Hagon is definitely going to improve given time....has a lot of bottle....but needs to make starts Can't believe Berwick didn't use Hook more last night?
  7. Doesn't the machine examiner only inspect machinery once (before the meeting) ?
  8. Might be better teams...... But after last weeks' 'shi#e'...the track doesn't appear to be better?
  9. Mayor of Birmingham in attendance tonight! Would be great/fitting if 'we' could achieve a decent size crowd and create a passionate atmosphere, to show what it means to the City and the 'remaining/current' 'supporters/owners' of the Club. We might need 'his' support for any future continuation.....
  10. I think your observation is spot on! He's got a lot of potential, but he would benefit from 'building' his physical strength!
  11. Has to be one of the most evenly matched line-ups that I've seen at PB this season. Hoping Schlein hasn't got his gating gloves on!
  12. Bringing back the 'old/regular' ones is a start!
  13. 1: Morris 2: Dan Thompson 3: Batchelor 4: Bowtell 5: Sedgemen 6: Hagon 7: Joe Thompson I think I'd go this route.
  14. I'm not saying they're 'great' signings....but at least he's having a go ! I don't want it to be about 'further/constant' criticism of Rogers, but there's no way he'd of released 'Pearson'? but releasing him is the only way that we could bring in someone of Batchelor's ability!
  15. At last! Light at the end of the tunnel! Look what a 'proper' manager can do! Looking forward to Wednesday!
  16. From the current averages...Morris = 9.10Sedgemen = 7.33Bowtell = 5.25Pearson = 3.38Thompson (D) = 5.66Total = 30.72Leaving 9.28 for 2 riders ? just guessing that this might be the way forward atm ? Desparately need Morris to up his game away and Sedgemen to put 2/3 points on at home ?
  17. S'D's comments on main bham website are promising....looks like he's taking things seriously!
  18. I agree...he should be dumped and use his average to get a replacement for him and James Wright (IMO)
  19. You'd better buy a ticket then!? E-ticket online. £22. No wonder they can afford Mastersand Nicholls....
  20. That's more like it! Yes we will most likely get a battering, but there will be 5 young lads in a red B giving it their all. Very refreshing!
  21. Well, with one eye on the uncertain future of PB, it's possibly a good move by Leicester to allow Dickson to get acquainted with the B'ham fans ???
