The luxury that I can see from this move, is that Bowtell can be used '7' times if needed (reserve)? Can only hope that Nielsen comes back with no ill effects? Starke/Nielsen are a far stronger pairing than D/J.Thompson, so it definitely strengthen's us. Very happy! Roll on next Wednesday!
-
Unfortunately he's not 16 till end of August! I wonder what points/ave are left after Starke signing ? Could Ashley Morris be returning, or may be Shanes ?
-
I was only teasing mate....I totally agree about the venue/viewing etc.... Must be quite satisfying going to a meeting that has a good atmosphere (Oxford..)
-
-
It wont help if you keep going to Oxford on a Wednesday

I don't think it would have anything to do with Dan's efforts....I would assume that it's all about juggling averages etc.... Besides, Dan was only signed on a 28 day term.... The manager has been signed to improve team performances, not to develop riders. It's about time we had someone that shows a passion for the cause. That's why Poole are so successful!
-
looks like 2 new signings on the way ? Very refreshing to see what the new manager is doing to 'improve' the team!
-
Not sure exactly...but approx 7.5 I think ?
-
Clegg rides well at PB....but I'd go with Starke if he fits. I'd like to see Dan given a chance, but he's a Championship reserve at best, atm..... IMO! Not sure I can see J.T coming back in to the team....he doesn't quite have it....I think Hagon is a stronger prospect (more bottle...)
-
Not saying it's something I'd do/agree with, but just looking at options and if there's not a suitable replacement for J.T, then the manager would have no choice but to look at other avenues.
-
Or, could there be a double change, with both Thompsons being dropped?
-
Might be worth trying to coax Ashley Morris back ? (if the average fits?)
-
From B'ham forum...new averages from July 1st gives us 4.78 for a replacement for the injured J.T (out for 6 weeks and not likely to make much of an impact on return, based on previous performances...) Paul Starke on 4.44 ???
-
Agreed! ....I was just adding a touch of humour, but now you mention the other areas, I think we can also add Handsworth/Lozells etc etc etc...... proper rough!
-
I think they should leave the '10 mins walk to West Brom Town centre', out of the advertisement

Well that's a big improvement/compliment for 'us' (B'ham), if you only 'think' that it will be a home win coz Pickering/Cook are back ? I think, B'ham will run em close tonight! -

I think both Thompson's places are at risk? Hagon is definitely going to improve given time....has a lot of bottle....but needs to make starts Can't believe Berwick didn't use Hook more last night? -

Mayor of Birmingham in attendance tonight! Would be great/fitting if 'we' could achieve a decent size crowd and create a passionate atmosphere, to show what it means to the City and the 'remaining/current' 'supporters/owners' of the Club. We might need 'his' support for any future continuation.....
