  1. On paper ! BUT...... Sedgemen is absolute sh#te at home this season! King is the best choice of guest, but as for the others, they wont be able to live with Lawson/Worral/Cook's and I fear that Newman is going to have a stormer! If we can keep it under 14 points, then we will have done well!
  2. Having got there 30mins before start time, I've found there to be plenty of parking spaces right in front of the old turnstiles ! (by plenty, I mean about a dozen or so....)
  3. SD's team talk going in to Weds match! C'mon 'Brummies'! I hope its Danny King to lead the charge!
  4. “We already know the sort of challenge we will face from Poole – but be assured, I will get this team’s spirits back up going into that one and they will be ready to go out there and take it to the reigning Champions
  5. Surely, if it was painkillers he'd have conformed to the test, but refusing, only points to one thing? Hopefully the facts will be published ASAP!
  6. There's nothing exciting in, or about Birmingham.... full stop !
  7. Not sure 'cheat' is the right terminology ? unless the banned substance is classed as a performance enhancer ? i.e weed/coke etc.... would impede has opposed to improve? So, I'd class the culprit as 'irresponsible' ? However, I guess there could be an arguement, for the fact that getting banned, Morris cheated fans out of £20 on Wednesday ?
  8. If he does get fined, then from that fine, the SCB should give us fans our entrance fee back !
  9. Wright ??? No way! King is a much better choice...so is Cook . (IMO)
  10. If it was medication he'd have taken the second test...nothing to hide etc... he's a loser!
  11. Probably a bit premature to be discussing a guest for next Week v Poole.....but I'm not sure whether Pickering has fully recovered from his recent injury, so, with that in mind, I'd go for Danny King or Craig Cook !!
  12. Guest facility it is then! Bugger....Nicholls and Harris both in action next Wednesday
  13. Very disappointing last night....BUT....some of the best racing I've seen down there in a long time. Harris/Vissing/Complin/Bowtell saved the day! Sedgemen poor yet again!!
  14. Harris, Brennan, Basso, Vissing ??? I think you'll edge it by about 4/6 points.... It's a great feeling tonight for us home fans, because I think it's the first meeting this season where I think we can say that we've got a chance of winning for once!
  15. Weather looking good! (odd shower around lunchtime....) Close call this one..... Could the meeting of the season so far !
  16. 2 new signings and not an Aussie insight ! LOL (admittedly not 'totally' new...)
  17. The luxury that I can see from this move, is that Bowtell can be used '7' times if needed (reserve)? Can only hope that Nielsen comes back with no ill effects? Starke/Nielsen are a far stronger pairing than D/J.Thompson, so it definitely strengthen's us. Very happy! Roll on next Wednesday!
  18. Better than Morley (probably) but cant see how that's better than Starke? I think your manager has lost his touch!
  19. Unfortunately he's not 16 till end of August! I wonder what points/ave are left after Starke signing ? Could Ashley Morris be returning, or may be Shanes ?
  20. I was only teasing mate....I totally agree about the venue/viewing etc.... Must be quite satisfying going to a meeting that has a good atmosphere (Oxford..)
