Yes the track was poop la poop tonight but I was with someone who thought the atmosphere at Poole was better than the track he usually attends! So despite a lot of the dissatisfaction with the track Poole at least delivered on one thing against Redcar! Another night of struggle for the Pirates which needs to be improved upon but at least we won when not at our best which is something champions are made of! Was great to see Vinnie make his debut and he is looking the part as he rode with plenty of determination. Just needs to channel his aggression in the right direction a bit more because we don't want him flying through the air as he did! Welcome to Vinnie Foord and all the best to Max. Vinnie is in fine form at NDL level at the moment and the time was right to try someone new before another club snapped him up. Max needs more time to get back into racing after his accident and if it wasn't for that I'm sure he would still be a Pirate. C'mon the Boyzzzz

That is the rumour and I even said at last week's meeting that Vinnie could be worth a shot as I also watch him ride at Leicester. He beat some more established riders at the U21 so as sad as it would be to see Max dropped the need is now to capture Vinnie before another team does.

Tolley/Lindgren I will never ever understand why folk go shouting their mouth off that something is going to happen before it's a done deal! A massive wasp always comes back to bite u on the a*se and leaves ur cheeks very red faced! Then u go on hands & knees begging for forgiveness. Very bad customer service! Edinburgh comes to mind when they went shouting off with brochures etc about their new venture when they hadn't even got planning permission. When will folk ever learn!

Very much looking forward to this meeting as I bring with me a mate who is originally from the Bournemouth area but converted to being a Lion! I/we will av to convert him to Pirateism! Shame that it doesn't look like Danny King will be riding as it's always good to see how former riders fair on a return to their old haunt. Charles Wright aside Redcar haven't got much to challenge us Pirates but I hope that they come with a fighting spirit and push us like Berwick did even if it means squeaky bum time! @Steve Shovlar 59-31 win for us Pirates C'mon the Boyzzzz!

If Max Perry is to be dropped then 2 young lads at Leicester worth a look at in Sonny Springer & Vinnie Foord. Yes they would also struggle to score but maybe they av a clearer mind to face the challenge of moving up a league.
