  1. U make a fair point but I don't think about riders getting injured that's not to say I'm naive in thinking that they don't. As for ur other point....... always look on the bright side of life
  2. Firstly not our fault and secondly summer runs until the end of August.
  3. Looking forward to getting back down to WINborne Road and some much needed Pirate action vs Monarchs. We welcome Tobias back into the team after his injury and an unexpected return for Max, let's hope both score some useful points. Monarchs not be scoring as many as last time when they held us to a 49-40 win in the cup. This time we will be firing all the way through the meeting to send the Monarchs fleeing back up North! Predict-ometer 56-34 C'mon the Boyzzzz
  4. I want more Poole Pirates, these breaks are doing me nut in!
  5. Never mind Poole waiting dates for the KO Cup semi final, we're still waiting dates for the Jubilee Final !
  6. I'd give my mate a go.......Tom Spencer (Leicester Cubs) in the short term at least. He has got his average up to 8.48 in the NDL this season and he said to me that he would like a go at the Championship. I guess he would come in on a 2 point average. But like any rider on such an average don't expect the world from him. All this bickering about who is better than who, at the end of the day these lads are a 2 point rider for a reason. Anyway, c'mon Tom now is your time to shine
  7. Run Off Congratulations to Sam Hagon on winning the title and to all the lads for taking part. Some promising young lads.
  8. All the best to Sam Hagon & Vinnie Foord in tonight's meeting. C'mon the Boyzzzz
  9. Think he got the wrong idea of taking a tooth out! ........,.ouch!
  10. Any news on Sam Hagons's injury that he picked up Berwick?
  11. MUST WATCH Ben Cook home debut for Leszno vs Torun. Fantastic action from the Pocket Rocket!
  12. Where are the match threads? Think I can answer that in that very few seem interested on the forum in the NDL. I posted a thread about Cubs vs Chargers both teams at the top unbeaten. All I got was 7 replies and 2 of those were mine! Enough said really.
  13. Was at Leicester this afternoon to watch Cubs 47-41 Chargers. But above that I was there to keep a keen eye on Vinnie & he rode with great style to score 11+2 which would've been 13+1 but for a dropped chain in his last ride. Only Luke Killeen got the better of him in heat 4. He did have one moment where he nearly lifted off his bike but thankfully he managed to get it back under control. Certainly had the crowd anxious for a moment. Good lad is Mr Vinnie & Poole Pirates certainly got mentioned a lot by not only Vinnie but also the announcer/interviewer The lad as a great future if he can keep his front wheel down! C'mon the Boyzzzz
  14. CUBS 47-41 Chargers Vinnie 11+2(5) Tom 8+1(4) Well done the Boyzzzz
  15. Jacob Fellows replaces Aaron Butcher in the Cubs side.
  16. Clash of the season so far as the 2 unbeaten teams go head to head in a top of the table clash at the Pidcock Arena. Cubs are at full strength but the Chargers have a couple of changes bringing in Coles & Woods for the injured Garrad & Spooner. Coles knows his way around Leicester so Chargers have chosen wisely. I'll be keeping a close eye on Vinnie Foord with him now riding for me Pirates & riding at no.7 for the Cubs he could well be turned to if the Cubs need some vital points scoring. And c'mon Mr Spencer, in the Cubs engine room will be looking for another strong contribution. I will be in attendance with my prediction being a 46-44 win for the Cubs
  17. Does that make the meeting points 2-2 45-45 1 point each Redcar won super heat Redcar 2-1 Oxford won on aggregate.... Redcar 2-2 Oxford First time I can recall coming across this situation
  18. Not I'll fated. Pirates still aim to stage it!
  19. After going to Oxford I'm so looking forward to seeing the Pirates in action again on hopefully a better prepared WINborne Road track in comparison to last time! C'mon the Boyzzzz
  20. Had me continental breakfast in the b&b and will be avin a celebration flat white mid morning before the return trip home on the train. Oh wot a night, yep I'm still buzzin' from last night. Av always enjoyed my visits to Cowley and it's a credit to the whole set up that the speedway is back. See all you Cheetahs at WINborne Road in August
