  1. Was El Scorchio in Poole town centre earlier as I arrived Got ketchup down me shorts tho at the café. I dropped a hot chip in a place that you don't want to drop a hot chip!
  2. Home to Berwick, Heat leader's rides 14 Heat Wins 3 plus one paid Win. Away to Edinburgh, Heat leader's rides 14 Heat Wins 4 Away to Berwick Heat leader's rides 15 Heat Wins 7 plus one paid Win. More like it!
  3. Thanks I'm not a Lions fan but go to most of their home meets with me Lions mates, c'mon the PIRATES!
  4. Well however they prep the track if it isn't right for our lads tonight then when will it ever be again?
  5. That's the plan Lewy thanks , just heading down there on the train. Hope Pirates can all fire at the same time, heat leader's av been missing of late with the low number of heat wins. Kemp as been our most reliable rider imho. Need a good start in heat 1 which we haven't had in a while. But tonight we are gonna kick ass! Basso & Humey, will respect their return until the racing starts then it's helmets on! C'MON THE PIRATES #piratepride
  6. TrackPrat alreet me loverrrr? We had a great night down the roller disco didn't we, especially when u totally wiped out the DJ !
  7. Ready, Steady, Cook Chris Readshaw (Glasgow), Paul Stead (Poole), Craig Cook (Glasgow), Ben Cook (Poole) Don't know why I did the thinking into this but when u av 5 minutes to waste this is wot me noggin comes up with! Actually didn't realise that Paul Stead had ridden for Poole '79, one of Long Eaton Invaders' '84 National League title winning heroes Yep a pointless post?
  8. They'll av to change the name to Winter Trophy with the way British Speedway is run. And wots happend to the KO Cup? Leicester still haven't raced the Quarter Final 2nd leg at Scunny yet! Not that they need to!
  9. Thing is, and wot I always say, when a rider is put in a race as a tac sub, reserve replacement or nominated in heat 15, we the fans are unaware of wot is happening in the pits. Cud be a whole host of reasons for a rider being selected other than the better option. Not always a manager's cock up.
  10. Tigers won't be hungry to win coz we Pirates will feed em on the scraps that we got left over from the Northern Tour, they're on turn & the flies keep gerrin up Middlo's nose!
  11. Are we playing monopoly? Coz if we are I'm gonna buy all the properties & stadium on Wimborne Road And the only Paisley I know is from Sunderland.......Bob!
  12. We need the ruts, bumps & waves back to give us some home advantage which is why they are having the practice! Lewy, u have leaked out the cunning secret plan!
  13. I'm fully charged & ready to cheer we Pirates on Yes the Tigers are looking a very very tuff proposition on paper but it's only tissue paper so one blow of the nostrils & they are disposed of! The Pirates, one for all & all for one! Who do u think you are kidding Cami Brown if you think we are on the run?! Time to tame them cat's lads! See yer @ Wimborne Road C'MON THE PIRATES #piratepride
  14. If anyone can pull a stroke or 2 or 3 then we Pirates can, we are sh*t hot at it!
  15. From wot I can work out from wot is being said u may as well av each heat over one lap & av 60 of them to make up for the missing laps. It's ok avin an opinion but where are the solutions to boring yawn etc racing. I would make the Summer Trophy handicap racing like the Olympique at Wolves but for team racing not individual racing. And maybe over 2 or 3 laps to try to attract folk that don't give much of a diddle about speedway. T20 works for cricket, totally new format for speedway outside of league racing for me is well worth a try
  16. Am I the only one on ere that actually attended both Edinburgh & Berwick? Being there & soaking up the atmosphere, chatting to people & enjoying a fantastic Northern break makes a hell of a lot of difference to those of u that watch on a computer. Whilst streaming is a valued financial input for club's it's no replacement to actually being there. All I hear from the stay aways streaming folk is how boring yawn etc these meetings were. For me, being there made all the difference as I thoroughly enjoyed both meetings & getting to meet & chat to riders & management in the pits. Fantastic Tour
  17. And Dolly Parton didn't do so bad going top heavy
  18. WOT A FANTASTIC MEETING! Credit to both sides for entertaining us! Special thanks to Bomber, he's a Pirate at heart! Had a good chat with Nathan & his dad come mechanic prior to the meeting as well 2 points in the bag C'MON THE PIRATES
  19. I'll agree with that Ere's to a cracking meeting as I'm viewing from just ahead of the start line C'MON THE PIRATES #piratepride
  20. Steve Worrall says he didn't know that 3pts in heat 15 wud've got us a point! Where's communication between team manager & riders' ? Of course u wud think he would still be trying his best but it does help to know wot the score is & wot is needed! Never understand when any rider from any team is interviewed & they haven't got a Scooby Do as to the score, especially at crucial moments.
  21. Hey TrackPrat me lover, I'm glad to know that I can bring you joy in your life. Seeing u smile & laff shows there is hope for humanity after all. Bring me sunshine God will save ur r-soul from hell fire & the wrath of Satan. There was a Bible in the b&b
  22. Shortly going to be catching the train from Bathgate (Armadale) to Berwick to catch the 2nd part of the Northern Tour. Berwick never an easy place to go to for an away team but the Pirates will be up for the challenge of getting sum points on the board after last night's defeat. C'MON THE PIRATES #piratepride
