  1. I see Berwick have had new averages issued, hmmmm. they rode in the League Cup on the 23rd March vs Scunthorpe but Scunthorpe's averages have NOT changed nor have Edinburgh who rode at Redcar the night before or Plymouth that rode Rye House on the 23rd.... I understand there is a cutoff date but when? and if 1 team is effected why not those others? confused...... As for Rolling averages, it would be simple for the BSPA to issue details on a spreadsheet but we are talking about the BSPA so probably written down on post it notes!
  2. Star of Anglia Full lineup(riding order tbc) Kevin Doolan Dakota North Taylor Poole Morten Risager Mat Tresarrieu Rohan Tungate Cameron Heeps Olly Allen (Peterborough) Henning Bager (Coventry) David Bellego (Berwick) Ryan Fisher (Plymouth) Ritchie Hawkins (Rye House) Leigh Lanham (Rye House Mark Lemon (Newcastle) Filip Sitera (Berwick) Kevin Wolbert (Kings Lynn)
  3. Surely its more unprofessional not to have team suits for a team sport?
  4. Rohan has got a white witch, others have black ones. Strange as his and Dakota both been made by CW.
  5. Taylor's suit arrived at 1.30pm so was able to use in the afternoon. His suit is not the odd one.. ....
  6. I'll be another to agree with the line up. If it were to be that way then it would actually be in average order starting with Kevin the highest and Cameron the lowest, surely a first? Suits look good, even though there is an odd one....... Roll on thursday!
  7. Good question, maybe a better one would be, it is on sky at all? Afaik a deal has yet to be signed.. .....
  8. Yes it is heat 19 Kurtz r), J Holder , Gathercole(W), Poole(Y) is the B final, Watt r), Poole Gathercole (W), Tungate(Y) heat 6 from North Brisbane Tungate (b heat 7 from North Brisbane (Poole W) is the A final from the 1st round at North Brisbane Holder, Watt, Masters, Tungate,
  9. Tungate was in yellow in the Poole/Masters race heres his next race: (heat 9) Tungate in white (heat 14?)....
  10. 2012 Aussie Championships featuring Taylor Poole in white
  11. Think its more of a case of, Great team but now have 3 month wait to see them, so what more can be said? Like knowing what you getting for Christmas in October but have to wait until Christmas day to open the gifts!
  12. "One thing that makes the always-grinning Hancock smile even bigger is the thought of having a round of the Speedway World Championship on home soil. He says the possibility is a real one. “There is so much talk about it and they’ve been talking about it for years,” he said. “I think we’re at the closest point we’ve ever been now and there’s a lot of rumors about them trying to line something up at Daytona during Bike Week, or maybe even something in California. I think me winning this championship really helps out the potential of them pushing into America. There’s a lot of talk with some new sponsors that are coming in and there could be a really big name coming into the sport next year, which would really increase the interest in the U.S. next year. It’s 99.9 percent sure, but hasn’t been released yet. It will be a good thing. “I would love to be able to race in front of a home crowd. If it happens, great, if it doesn’t… well, the sport is still growing and it’s pretty bitchin’ to watch it.” Hmm interesting, so whos the Sponsor?
  13. Congrats to Greg on winning Cycle News Rider of the Year 2011. Great interview in the magazine aswell, if you cant get hold of a copy, sure it can be found on line.
  14. Whoops wouldnt it be 13 league matches? plus the 6 others, still only a saving of 50p or £30.50 Somerset's ticket is valid for the league matches, southern trophy matches and 1 koc match. 19 matches for £226!
  15. So the "Season Ticket" includes entry to 5 "North/South" matches, 11 League matches and a cup match. Thats 17 matches. Which at £15.50 is £263.50, So where are the other matches going to come from to make a season ticket worthwhile? Also fair to say that the team needs to be announced soon so to let people decide if worthwhile too.
  16. Half price season tickets? New stand down back straight? Return of Chris Louis at number 4?
  17. But when Bobby Miskowiak did ride the "new" track he hated it!
  18. If Adam Roynon is "injury prone" could always replace him with Jerran Hart.....
  19. Topinka's 7+1 came from him beating his teammate 3 times for 3rd place on 1-5's. Beat Harrison and Hart for one 2nd place and final 2+1 came from beating Mills (who had touched tapes and off 15m) and Schramm who had e/f when 1st! His 4 came much the same way, with 2 1-5's and then beat Doolan and Harrison for his 2nd place. So not the best of form!
  20. When comparing Heeps and Blackbird(or Jacobs, Halsey, Baseby, Baseby, Hargreaves) what you have to remember is the amount of track time they have had. Heeps must have had unlimited in Aussie, whereas where can a Brit just turn up and practice? Also how much time, effort and money have Louis (or others in the Mildenhall pits, Lee, Jolly, Doncaster, Risager etc) put into Heeps? If this had been given to a (young) Brit, what could they acheive?
  21. 8.36 for a number 1..... what a horrible position to be in!
  22. That would come to about 40 points, so could swap Mills for Doolan and still be under a 42.50 limit and Morris and Heeps would be reserves!
  23. Wouldn't make it common knowledge about team plans though....look what happened to Coventry and Peterborough when their plans were known before last years AGM,...... Keep quiet, get a decent points limit and then name the side a week later! As for a Kings Lynn derby, think majority of fans would say yes please
  24. 1. Hampel 2. Doolan 3. Gollob 4. Miskowiak 5. King 6. Heeps 7. Risager next year there will be a rule that states teams must be made up of assets only....................
