  1. Robson struggled last time at Foxhall but that just a blip. Handy that nedermark isn't at reserve but wethers will do well there. Henry was electric from the gate and lemon also scored double figures. Was RR for lindgren last time, starke failed to score. For the witches bekker only beat starke, and Poole failed to score. Could be close or could be 55-35 either way!
  2. Wethers guests at 7 and Starke is at 6. Ipswich will continue to use Nielsen in place of heeps. Hope the weather is OK.
  3. Just hope one of the speedway teams win and not the weather..... again!
  4. In the end it was the weather that got the better of the teams but would the remaining 3 heats to get to the 12th heat have been able to be run considering the 10pm cutoff? The rather prolonged interval between the double header and then more track grading once the meeting went ahead certainly didn't help Workington's cause. As for the Witches, thats 2 cup finals from a season that for ALL teams has been one to forget really...
  5. Hope its not the same rules makers as the ones that made the fours qualifying rules....
  6. Can't see anything other than an ipswich win too. But this is speedway so anything possible.... Will be decided on Monday what will happen....
  7. Might need some waterwings from the pictures of the track i have seen!
  8. Why not just have 3 WC picks, then at each round have 1 local WC and 1 "inform" WC from any nation?
  9. Looking back to the league meeting, Cook is back for the Monarchs but his replacement Summers scored 14 last time, Tully, Pjiper and Wethers scored 9 each. Sneddon should improve on his 3 points. Depends how many more the Monarchs reserves be able to score more than the paid 6? For the Witches, Lanham and Tungate only scored paid 9 but Risager will do well to score another 12. The reserves scored 10 and Poole and North 13 combined. Looks about right so will be close one, just depends on r/r
  10. 2 minutes to get onto the track and be in position to start the race. Then let the riders do what they want, eg not have to sit still, if they want to get a roller, let them as long as they dont touch the tapes.will save all this faffing about with did he or didn't he move. Tapes could be on a timer so that the ref presses a button and then they release between 1.5 and 3 seconds.
  11. I know its YOUR top 10 riders but Dakota North has 29 from 10 from his last 2 meetings in the PL so think he is the on form rider at present with a 11.60 average.
  12. North has stated today he is going to Argentina for the 2 meetings there with Masters
  13. In the League match score was 48-41, but Jorgensen was guesting at #1 and scored 12. Dont think Gathercole will score that! Witches should be able to take a healthy lead but that depends on "Witch" team turns up!
  14. Need an "incident" early on that will get the crowd involved, just some handbags but would make for a better atmosphere. Bit like the Poole/Birks incident a couple of weeks ago.
  15. My offer still stands! Gathercole had 2 meetings this year at Foxhall, scoring 7 from 5 and 6 from 4. Doesn't sound too bad but beat his team mate 7 times, Holder, Reade and Glanz. Has 1 good ride a meeting when he gates and beat Lanham and Heeps and then Tungate and Heeps. *Famous last words......*
  16. I'll do it I'm on a 3.00 ave, will only need £10 fuel costs and use of the track spare! I will demand £1000 a point though, but sure the moneys safe!
  17. Fisher on 8.78, Cook on 8.50, and as no 5% rule anymore no he cannot. Leaves someone with average under 8.50 from Berwick, Leicester, Newcastle, Plymouth, Scunthorpe, Somerset or Workington.
  18. Can ask all they like, but won't he be riding for his current team Redcar?
  19. Witches site was updated on Tuesday. Bspa site news about cook was from today. From what I've heard Edinburgh are struggling to get a guest. Maybe other riders are on holiday? :-)
  20. 1. Leigh Lanham 6.92 2. Morten Risager 6.68 3. Taylor Poole 5.99 4. Dakota North 6.49 5. Rohan Tungate 6.55 6. Mat Tresarrieu 5.84 7. Stefan Nielsen (G) 1. Guest (8.50) 2. Derek Sneddon 5.81 3. Theo Pijper 7.71 4. Matthew Wethers 5.66 5. Andrew Tully 7.01 6. Jozsef Tabaka 4.75 7. Byron Bekker (G)
  21. Also a NL guest will be needed for Helfer at no7. Which is Byron Bekker , Not many options for the Monarchs though for Cook..... Redcar v Glasgow, Sheffield v Rye House, and Swindon v Birmingham rules out, Auty, Morris, etc. I see that Sheffield have reduced admission for the PCT to £10, nice to see Ipswich do the same......
