Cook should be at 2. Would ride in 3 heats with the no1. "Easy" ride in heat 8 and then RR in heat 13. With Cook and King together in 3 heats ... must get 3 heat advantages for it to work But hey what do the paying public know.... Pressure now on Allen to score well... the rider who would be at reserve if Starke had ridden enough meetings for an average. Oh well.....

Look at who Riss had beaten up until 15.... his team mates Kerr 3 times, Wells once. Witches reserves 3 times and Schlein. Kings Lynn manager certainly helped the Witches by using Riss in 15 and not using ts in heat 6. Heat 6 saw Schlein score his only points beating Mountain and an unfit Rowe.

2 passes all night and both times the rider who was passed fell off. Probably due to embarrassment. 1st Allen and then Riss. Cook and King untouchable. Well they gated in 4 heats each. Heat 15.. neither gated at the front. It didn't look good but King able to pass Riss for the 3 - 3. Witches win the meeting.... Kings lynn win a league point. Fans the losers as again there was no entertainment and NOTHING to make me want to attend next week... I'd still be saying the same if £10.

I would enjoy the racing.... but what's to enjoy at the moment? Speedway got stale at Foxhall a few years back, a few of us tried and succeeded in bringing some fun to the night with various instruments and themes. Hi vis night and buffet night being 2. ( a wallpaper pasting table was even bought in and set up to aid with the last) A combination of not sitting together with mates and poor racing led me to not going last night through choice... 1st time in years. The 15 heats actually stop the conversations we are having ... rather than the heat action making the next conversation . I'm able to watch "proper speedway" on a sunday from Poland . Then the circus act on Eurosport on a Monday with good company Did I miss going last night ? No. And i know i wont be the only one in this position. Yes I checked on the scores through the night. ( 1st time about 8 when I then remembered it was on) But would I get value for my £19 .... not a chance. Would I go if it was less probably not. It's now another 2 weeks before speedway at Foxhall is back... Will I be ? It could be 50/50 but edging more towards giving it a miss...

Having only 6 teams in the top division...doesn't really matter if Ipswich were to get 5000 fans, wouldnt make much difference to the grand scheme of things. If British speedway was a pet it would be put out of its misery soon.
