  1. 1. Ex- World Champs don't come cheap.... 2. Some might say that its only an extra quid and look at all the money saved over the last year.. 3. but yeah certainly does take the #';£ and many will think about the Value they are getting after the novelty has worn off.
  2. Will be the 1st time the action at Foxhall has made you breathless...
  3. Before the stands were built thats where i used to stand. Must have liked warm beer.... but if you 15 then any beer would do i suppose! Then there was the "food outlet" that had 2 queues, one for chips and the other for "potatoes" . I remember the times when the chips queue was huge but the other was empty, so used to go to the potato queue and ask for chips, after all what are chips made from ?
  4. sounds like a plan...... 1 other though, Mini Hut will need one
  5. I sit behind you Mr Taps... but get to stadium at different times. As do most, if not all of our group. Would make sense that we book as a 6.... but will that happen? We tried to do that for doomed British Final but for whatever reason it didn't work. Are kids tickets included ?
  6. What happened to the rule that a rider had to appear for their club for a facility to be used? Otherwise Belle Vue could have named Brady Kurtz or Ipswich could have named Jake Allen and used guests all season If riders are unable to ride TOUGH, NL guest. That goes for anyone, including my club , If Klindt/ Rowe or Kemp are stuck "somewhere" then no special dispensation cr@p. Everyone knew the rules.
  7. Was KK fault so why shouldn't he be excluded ? Too many times something happens and is classed as "1st bend bunching"
  8. 50 / 50 call there for me. Rybnik rider didn't do much wrong, but nor did Gdansk. Harsh that "red" excluded but would have been harsh for "white" to be excluded too
  9. Being at Bydgoszcz for a Grand Prix and seeing Tomasz win is etched in my mind . The whole stadium was jumping, literally! Tomasz Gollob Tomasz Actually there are many more great memories of him from 98 aswell. Edit: NSport have just shown the heat on tv
  10. In Sanders case could have ended differently if those around him had taken notice of signs that they saw prior to the events of April 23rd 1985. John Berry certainly mentions that there possibly were signs that Billy wasn't right . But also mentions Billy hid things well. Didn't he score a maximum in his last meeting? Both were great on a speedway bike, both must have been in a dark place, but only one murdered his wife. Which far out weighs any "good" Carter did.
  11. When its in the best interests of the sports leading man........
  12. "The clubs have been split into two regional groups with Belle Vue, Sheffield and Wolverhampton making up one section and Ipswich, King’s Lynn and Peterborough in the other. The group winners will meet in the Final." “It might only be three or four races, but the importance is to give track time to these lower-starred riders, the ones and twos, to add to their National Development League racing." So each club will stage 2 home matches, that will consist of 4 races. Whats the point of these riders travelling to a track for that? Most clubs could easily fit in more races if needed. Once they have appeared for their team will they become assets of that club? Also could these riders be able to ride for a club in each Group? Just seems a half hearted attempt to me.... so perfectly fits with British speedway
  13. If Ellis was to ride in the CL with Poole, take a look at the fixtures, eg Tues 25th May @ Plymouth Wed 26th May @ Poole Sat 29th May @ Eastbourne . Tuesday and Wednesdays are when Sweden and Denmark ride. Sunday is Poland and the Poles want their riders in the country the day before. Also there are fixtures on sundays in the UK too. So for a rider that wants to ride in Europe then the CL makes no sense. The PL is different as a rider will know that on Mondays and Thursdays they will be in the UK. Others nights and they be abroad.
  14. There you go then he should be a rising star .... #poorJason
  15. "He is inexperienced in the Premiership" so is Jason Crump.. can he be a rising star too.?.. Born in Bristol don't you know
  16. How can a work permit be given out when British riders with similar averages are still looking for jobs?
  17. To stream matches the track would have to to have a decent internet signal for that to work......
  18. Ah ok.... my bad. so Bickley was protected for BV then..
