  1. I can still hear his unmistakeable voice as soon as I think of his commentary.
  2. Maybe wait until the actual season has started? I haven't even collected my season ticket yet.
  3. a) Yes b) Yes. I'm not a Boomer and couldn't really care less about the Wembley finals or Cardiff. Never been. Maybe they'll make more noise at turn four on Friday. It's not like we humped you, so don't go saying there was nothing to cheer!
  4. I've never heard it so quiet. If the Tigers fans weren't there, you'd think it was the Emirates.
  5. The polish article yesterday used the word "fatalny", which doesn't necessarily translate to "fatal" in English. That's where the alarm came from. People always need to be careful with translation, and I think Polish is quite tricky to accurately translate.
  6. I'm quite excited to see how the Edinburgh team fare. It would be good to see some different teams fighting for the playoffs this year, and I'm hoping Edinburgh can make a good impression. After we smash them a few times early doors, obviously.
  7. Glasgow Tigers Vs Celtic/Rangers... Yeah, that's a hard sell.
  8. That's Hagon's team building average. His official average is 4.85, which I believe is what counts for the riding positions.
  9. Came here to make a joke about Jesus turning tables, not laps. Didn't expect to be beaten to it 😄
  10. Not really his fault last year to be fair. The accident at Armadale was very unfortunate for all concerned.
  11. I think the difficulty is more in getting fans to come along to the lower level team when teams have two. If the only option is an NDL team, I think that can work well. It's a harder sell when there's a higher level team competing for tickets. That said, Oxford have all three tiers covered, so I guess it works for them? Maybe they have a secret the rest of us are missing.
  12. How much you get paid on paper is not as important as how much enters your bank account, and how quickly that happens. I reckon Poole are probably quite good at that bit.
  13. He said the right words, but not with any conviction.
  14. He absolutely hates the track. I don’t think he’d go.
  15. Just for accuracy's sake, I think Tom Spencer's average should be 2.00, not 2.03. He's ridden in the Championship, but never obtained an average as he's not ridden enough meetings or ever been declared in a team.
  16. I didn't realise Dayle Wood was such a late starter, so fair play in that case - probably is worth a punt.
  17. Oxford would be the only option, I think, though he may prefer to just concentrate on Poland rather than split between the UK and there, as he'll not need to worry so much about equipment.
  18. Yes, I think it's a risk, but I guess you could argue those riders have the biggest potential to improve their average, meaning if the others just deliver even what they managed last year, that's a very good position to be in. We'll see what happens. Personally, I don't think the Glasgow team is obviously stronger than anyone else we've seen so far, and it's hard to judge until the other teams are complete. I'm liking that quite a few teams have had a bit of a shakeup, so plenty opportunity for things to pan out differently next year.
  19. It would have been very difficult for Glasgow not to strengthen!
  20. It's criminal they don't offer a carrier pigeon option, eh? Decent team. Hope they do well. Good to see Ace has a spot.
  21. Absolutely no prize, I'm not sure they even attempted to keep the team under wraps 😄
