I think the difficulty is more in getting fans to come along to the lower level team when teams have two. If the only option is an NDL team, I think that can work well. It's a harder sell when there's a higher level team competing for tickets. That said, Oxford have all three tiers covered, so I guess it works for them? Maybe they have a secret the rest of us are missing.

Yes, I think it's a risk, but I guess you could argue those riders have the biggest potential to improve their average, meaning if the others just deliver even what they managed last year, that's a very good position to be in. We'll see what happens. Personally, I don't think the Glasgow team is obviously stronger than anyone else we've seen so far, and it's hard to judge until the other teams are complete. I'm liking that quite a few teams have had a bit of a shakeup, so plenty opportunity for things to pan out differently next year.
