  1. How convenient, however the cynic in me thinks the Poole promotion realizing Redcar have a meeting at Oxford the next day thought... wait a minute... "how can we swing the odds in our favour". What if Redcar had an injured rider or two. As I said it's me being cynical, they wouldn't possibly hope for that.. Would they
  2. Poole had no intention whatsoever of hosting the first leg... It was an empty gesture
  3. Ok it's not cheating but it is skulduggery, every man and his dog knew Poole would do whatever they had to do to ensure this meeting was called off. I was looking forward to the return leg on Sunday but now I will pray to the rain gods that the gesture is reciprocated. They say "cheats don't prosper" but Poole Pirates have proved year on year that they are an exception to the rule I
  4. Straight from the horses mouth
  5. Leon Flint guests on Friday Lewis Kerr guests on Saturday
  6. It's a dangerous game I wouldn't blame him one bit of he hung his kevlars up. He lost his edge a few years ago after that nasty crash in Scotland that would have rattled anyone
  7. How unfair, the guy does his best with the cards he is dealt, he was merely the bringer of bad news on this occasion. How about you give up all of your spare time to see if you can do a better job and see if you can handle the unwarranted criticism
  8. The teams have a limit on how much they can pay their players so if they splash out on a superstar the pot for the rest of the team is reduced. It ensures that the top players are evenly distributed around the league
  9. Redcar need fixing, there's a huge Eric Riss sized hole in the team
  10. Is it any wonder, judging by the remarks emanating from Scotland? I have posted in the Championship group I have no interest in the Premiership
  11. Straight from the keyboard of a Glasgow supporter with everything to gain
  12. As if Russia would attempt anything like that on British soil.....
  13. Are you on crack? He's a Russian Glasgow signed him Russians are killing Ukrainians. You are obviously devoid of a moral compass
  14. Where in that statement does he denounce Russia and Putin? Its a carefully drafted statement of convenience that's all. I am not blaming sportsmen for Russias invasion but surely a blanket ban on anything Russian sends the right message and letting someone in through the back door is not playing ball
  15. I would have no problem with Russians riding in the UK if they publicly denounce The Russian Federation and its despot leader but they haven't, meanwhile their compatriots are targeting markets with cruise missiles killing and maiming babies. No Russians should be allowed to participate in sports outside of Russia until the barbaric acts end. I don't care that Glasgow took advantage of a loophole to sign a rider but I am bothered that the governing body of any sport is so out of sync with public opinion
  16. I thought someone else might of brought it up. I have now put my tin hat on
  17. I know sport and politics should not be mixed but as an I am appalled that Glasgow have signed Russian rider. As far as I am concerned every point he and his uncle take is stained with Ukrainian blood. Shame on the BSPL for sanctioning it.
  18. Get of the Guys back, is is a champion of men's mental health and has spoken of his own troubles, I applaud him for riding in spite of the accident and I hope he returns to form soon.
  19. To be fair he was involved in the nasty crash last week and is probably still feeling the effects
