  1. In all honesty if you are going to pick a squad of 12, give Bridger a chance for the experience of it all. He maybe not be able to ride due to age limits but he's riding better than some of the riders chosen. If the BSPA had any sense of intellgence, they take Bridger to Rynbik with the team so he can gain the experience from pits. And then similar situation in the Reading meeting(s).
  2. Every team gets their own thread when the squads are revealed for SWC. So let's emerge them all and throw them on here. POLAND 1. Tomasz Gollob - captain 2. Jaroslaw Hampel 3. Rune Holta 4. Janusz Kolodziej 5. Piotr Protasiewicz 6. Sebastian Ulamek 7. Grzegorz Walasek 8. Krzysztof Kasprzak 9. Wieslaw Jagus 10. Robert Kosciecha 11. Damian Balinski 12. Adrian Miedzinski GREAT BRITAIN Scott Nicholls Mark Loram Lee Richardson Simon Stead Chris Harris David Norris Gary Havelock Chris Louis Joe Screen David Howe Eddie Kennett Danny Bird DENMARK Nicki Pedersen Bjarne Pedersen Hans Andersen Niels Kristian Iversen Jesper B. Jensen Charlie Gjedde Kenneth Bjerre
  3. The Swedish team building averages must add up to the full total of the season's previous champions. They also use a more complex way of working out averages.
  4. The Polish League are more on an even level because of the machinery being equal and that most tracks are big and wide. No need to mess with engines. On the coverage I have seen, Polish League is far more better than British Leagues. I team can suffering a hammering and not particular deserve it as they were on the pace.
  5. Davey Watt rides for Liga 1 GTŻ Grudziądz. Struggling this year heavily.
  6. I might be probably going this GP now. With Prague being such a big place getting accomdation or a flight, should be easy shouldnt it?!?
  7. Sunday brings the semi-final of the World Under-21 Championship hold at Leszno. The Under-21 mantle still maintains a inch of respectability due to the format which is taken on and the competitve side to the event. Here's the line-up http://www.sportowefakty.pl/?dysc_id=4&k1_...&news_id=126239 I am sure there will be updates from one of the Polish websites. Starts 1800 BST The field looks very exciting. From the Poles of Hlib and Zabik to the grit of the Brits Wright, King Brothers and the lone ranger of Holder. I would predict Hlib Zabik Buckowski Holder With Wright probably scraping through
  8. Same old, same old. I bet when it comes to riding for the Lions, he will be back Polish.
  9. GKSZ Have got to go with Kolodziej, deny Poland's 3rd best rider and future world championship a spot at joining the circus
  10. Interesting, BSI will have to progress in these two countries if they want to make the GP bigger than it currently is. But the money stakes will have to be bumped up and a major sponsor to come on board. Peter Keynon of Chelsea was there on Saturday, Chelsea to invest in Speedway?!?
  11. I see, so no chance of Kolodziej qualifying for the GPs?!? Off Topic, Hows Britain treating you Matt?
  12. Meaning a Top 6 of and going to the GP Circus Qualifiers Gollob Ulamek PePe Jagus Kosciech Hampel Surely Gollob and Hampel would decline the opportuntity, if so it would go to Walasek and Slabon. Or would the GKSZ give Kolodziej or Kaprzak the spots?!?
  13. It looks like ten GPs next year on Ballinger's well-pointed out fact but surely if Russia and Croatia want to get in on the act, then they should have 12 GPs. The sport should grow, not knock back. What's the possibility in BSI dropping one of the Swedish rounds?!?
  14. There has never been an opening GP in March, so it would April. In between the break of Six Nations and Cup Finals.
  15. A-Levels, I had finished revising Central and Eastern Europe economic weaknesses in the 20th Century. Also, I was revising 'the longest suicide note ever written'
  16. Is it today or tomorrow?!? And whats the line-up as it seems Gollob and Hampel are going to miss this meeting out as it's a Polish Qualifying Round for GP 2007.
  17. On current progression SCB, he has shown flashes of genius in the PL and Hancock was a late starter. Also I think a German will break through in the next 5 years.
  18. Still holding out for that German GP at the AOL Arena, Iris?!?
  19. What the borough of Wembley the real Speedway City. At Wembley, you got there and there was nothing to do in the day. Cardiff slap bang in the middle of the city, plenty to do, only one criticism the roads.
  20. My future GP starts contain quite a few 'generation after this lot' riders. I was thinking more 2016 than 2010. Harris will get a wild card for the Cornwall GP at Plymouth Super Stadium in 2009.
  21. In a revision break today, I came up with a rough GP future stars. Feel free to argue the case of many and discuss your future-line-up. In no way is this supposed to add pressure onto these riders to get them to GP level. It's on their current progression GREAT BRITAIN Lewis Bridger Josh Auty AUSTRALIA Chris Holder Troy Batchleor POLAND Karol Zabik Janusz Kolodziej Pawel Hlib DENMARK Morten Risager Nikolai Klindt SLOVENIA Matej Zagar SWEDEN Antonio Lindback Fredrik Lindgren RUSSIA Emil Sajfutdinow CROATIA Jurica Pavlic UNITED STATES Chris Kerr RIDERS WHO JUST MISSED OUT Patrick Hougaard Eric Andersson James Wright Buczkowski Christian Hefenbrock Lubos Tomicek
  22. Danke Schon Anyone reckon there could be 11 rounds next year? It seems certain Russia are to have a round.
  23. Gem, any clues to when the next Q and A is for Leicester rider at the Ukrainian? Me and my Uncle forgot about seeing the great Johnny Boulger talk but my Uncle's brother and his pal went along and loved it. We tried to set up a Speedway day at the Phoenix Arts Centre, unfortuanely it never came off. It was going to be a great day, in the Afternoon we was going to have a history of World Finals DVD and talk. Later at night the attention would turn to the Lions, showing bits from Ray Wilson winning a British Final at Owlerton and other bits and bobs. The only reason the Lions never won something major honour is that our beloved Blackbird Road was too fair of a track. It was one of the best in the land of England. (My Uncle's Opinion rubbed off on me)
