  1. Sorry for the misunderstanding but I was hoping The Guardian would run some season preview but we're in the midst of the football season ending, so no chance.
  2. Hmm...I agree hopefully that coverage can continue. There was a superb article written by The Guardian two weeks after Harris' British GP win which was something - I was hoping for something like as well.
  3. Nicki Pedersen - $60k © Andreas Jonsson - $40k Rune Holta $30k Scott Nicholls $35k Fredrik Lindgren $30k
  4. TBH, the best coverage on this site so far is off Miss Polski. But seriously thanks to all behind the work this. Funny how some guys can make a top product in Poland yet in our supposly developed Britain, it's all too expensive to do.
  5. And all of sudden, the guys who insist British Speedway is the only Speedway in the world have been silenced.
  6. I take it the top six are through to the qualifiers? Top six are Adrian Miedzinski Sebastian Ulamek Rafal Dobrucki Greg Walasek Janusz Kolodziej Tomasz Jedrezjak
  7. Rzeszow's rating is a bit harsh. Ever since their recent promotions, they are a bit of fairy-tale club, promoted by a woman and on a track which is simply superb. I suggest you have a look through youtube to see some the stuff rode there last year. Sadly now Pedersen has gone (couldn't afford him) - they will struggle for a no.1. Tarnow were previously owned by a Oil company - the trio of Rickardsson, Gollob and Kolodziej fired them to league titles but last year, when the company disappeared from the Speedway scene(Orzel something?), it went sour riders unpaid etc. I understand Chorzow was a one-off man-made track built for a GP - it's now the national football team's stadium. Liga I does have the darkhorses in the Latvians, Daugvapils. Remember Laguta from the Latvian Gp, he rides for them.
  8. I don't doubt....back in the days when Swedish Speedway was on the box in it's homeland there was the possibility of watching meeting a couple of days after. However, Canal is an exculsive 'cable' station - so probably doubtful.
  9. And the scores 1. Sebastian Ułamek (Złomrex Włókniarz Częstochowa) - 13 (3,3,1,3,3) 2. Tomasz Jędrzejak (Atlas Wrocław) - 12 (3,2,2,3,2) 3. Paweł Hlib (Caelum Stal Gorzów) - 3 (1,1,0,1,0) 16. Damian Celmer (Unibax Toruń) - 2 (1,0,1) 17. Adam Wiśniewski(Unibax Toruń) - 1 (0,1,0) 18. Mateusz Lampkowski (Unibax Toruń) - 0 (0,0) 19. Tomasz Piszcz (Lokomotiv Daugavpils) - 0 (w,0,d,-,-)] and thanks to that here's the line-up for Thursday's Final 1. Tomasz Gapiński (Złomrex Włókniarz Częstochowa) 2. Krzysztof Buczkowski (Polonia Bydgoszcz) 3. Michał Szczepaniak (Złomrex Włókniarz Częstochowa) 4. Daniel Jeleniewski (Atlas Wrocław) 5. Sebastian Ułamek (Złomrex Włókniarz Częstochowa) 6. 10. It's the Polish Eliminator for GP 2009 Qualifying.
  11. The second round of the E-Liga this weekend contains the fixtures of: Rzeszow v Leszno Wroclaw v Torun Zielona Gora v Gorzow Czestochowa v Tarnow Gdansk visit Bydgoszcz in the pick of the Liga I meetings and probably the ZG v Gorzow match looks the best this weekend.
  12. They won't announce their line-ups until Saturday morning at earliest with the squad systems they operate. If you mean a list of the squads see here - http://subedei.proboards89.com/index.cgi?b...amp;thread=185
  13. Torun - Rzeszow Tarnow - Zielona Gora Leszno - Czestochowa Gorzow - Wroclaw My prediction for the season 1. Leszno 2. Torun 3. Czestochowa 4. Gorzow 5. Zielona Gora 6. Rzeszow 7. Wroclaw 8. Tarnow For all the Polonia fans, Bydgoszcz ride away at the South border club, Rynbik in Liga I.
  14. They did a similar thing last year...where the British GP clashed with Qualifying GP 2009 Round....so someone who could of won the wild card for the British GP would miss it for a qualifer.
  15. You seen the newly developed stadium then?
  16. It was probably the cost of a visa for which the person's proposed place of accomdation charged. I know that when the English footy fans visited Moscow - hotels were happy to do the necessary paperwork if provided with the relevant info.
  17. Yes, it was. Look here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Togliatti
  18. It was recently mentioned in the Polish Speedway press that a very serious bid/move was made for Togliatti to hold a Gp in 2009 or 2010. Hence it's disappearance from more 'simple' FIM meetings.
  19. A beginning of the season 16 rider invidiual (sp?) meeting.
  20. I applaud Scunny for having their own intelligence to get something like this going.
  21. But no Junior final for Rye House...maybe they have GP Challenge?
