  1. Unfortunately Scorpions have that old problem of not having a No1 now that Douglas has gone, basically it is a team of good second strings who occasionally ride like heat leaders + Kyle Howarth wasn't a very good signing
  2. It’s not that rare, 2 out of 3 Premiership matches today were won by the away team
  3. Oh Dear, how did Paul Starke suddenly appear in Scunny’s plans, well passed his best
  4. Hopefully not, it would be a backward step as I think both Jorgensen and Toft from their initial performances have flattered to deceive, neither has made the progress that should have made them riding for their country or are reliable from one week to another.
  5. Probably too short notice but ironically it’s a beautiful sunny day here and forecast looks good for the rest of the day, from tomorrow looks crap.
  6. What a fantastic meeting, the racing was brilliant besides the one sided scoring, Flint after 2 duff rides was then in the thick of the action and Etheridge and Schlein tried hard, impressed with Luke Harrison but it seemed like a season too far for Hans Andersen, All the Scorpions rode well even though Drew Kemp had a bit of bad luck
  7. At least the England Women’s team reached the World Cup final unlike the Scottish women who were probably in the hills chasing haggis lol.
  8. And far better than Mountain and Ablitt who were rubbish,
  9. This was a meeting I was expecting Scunthorpe to lose but in the end they shouldn’t have, can’t complain about Steve Boxall ,but the performances by Mountain and Ablitt were pathetic, only recording a point against a Poole rider when Newman fell, and which muppet chose ht 15 bottler Jake Allen for the final heat, should have been Lambert or a half fit Toft would have done a better job
  10. Boxall can’t do any worse than Drew Kemp in the last home meeting
  11. Yeah, even though Ipswich won Mr Hawkins had his slapped arse face on again
  12. Not quite 40 but nevertheless an excellent meeting, having Richard Lawson in place of Morris in the Brummies team gave them more strength and if Troy Batchelor had been any good scores would have been a lot closer, very impressed with Ablitt, gets better every week but will Drew Kemp ever have any good luck.
  13. Just bring back the old system of the 2000’s if you didn’t finish in the top two in the elimination heat you were out + there were more places
  14. Unfortunately 2 of the best riders in the world are missing in Sayfutinov and Laguta who would definitely give Bart a run for his money
  15. Trying to come across as hard for the tv cameras but just looks a miserable tw4t
  16. Obviously should have been a guest in for MPT especially as only 4 points were got from rider replacement, in the end though getting a point from this match with only 5 riders was an achievement, ps was Jake Allen riding one of the kids 250cc bikes all night
  17. Hic, where is Danny Phillips when you need him
  18. Can’t believe i’m Saying this, bring back Auty and Aarnio
  19. Think every Scunny supporter was peed off when Joe had to go, especially replacing him with 2 deadwood in Clegg and Ablitt
  20. Yes, agree as I said earlier Scunny need 5 riders as only Douglas and Mountain are performing, Allen and Toft are not heat leaders, Lambert unfortunately will be in the team when he is an OAP and the other 2 are well out of their depth
  21. I think Scunny need more than a Drew Kemp signing, 2 heat leaders would help
  22. He’s a 3 pointer on a 1.00 although he did manage to beat Ablitt for his point
  23. Yes, he was very good at Scunny as well, wish we could find an up and coming rider like Basso and Pijper at Scunny, think we will have Simon Lambert when he is 80 years old
