  1. It was the greatest 50 yards Peterborough fans had ever seen
  2. Weather looks abit mixed. Rain from 3 onwards possibly. Would Leicester risk it?
  3. I really hope this is on! This won't be a hammering, basso and Richie ride Leicester well so should make it a little more competitive. I'm going for 50-40.
  4. Your guest options are small if all the meetings are on Thursday. Possible could use jack holder or even a suprise like Kyle howarth..
  5. Don't see a problem with monmore green. I've watch a few meetings on the BSN and it was exciting still. I like the idea of tracks being unpredictable. From a lions fan I'm used to our track getting plenty of stick and it doesn't bother me anymore. Belle Vue are a young side and are always going to struggle at a place like wolves. Oh and is Steve worrall using rocket fuel or something ? He is on fire!!!
  6. Really enjoyed last night's meeting . And fair play to Berwick. Most people thought it was going to be a hammering but they were solid and gave everything throughout. The Leicester side looks so promising. They are so young and lack experience but both Max's got stronger as the meeting went on and look future stars. Ashton looks a tidy rider too and just needs time and patience. Dan T is nearly unbeatable at Leicester..he's definitely claiming to big scalps in the prem. Well done to both sides. Also, I liked the flags around the stadium, I also noticed the painted fences that look smart. The flood lights are fantastic but I think they need tilting a little towards the track more. The centre green seemed brighter than the track it's self.. Overall a great night of speedway made by max James doing a super ride on his own ! The fans were super noisy when he won..what a fantastic moment for him..highlight of the night!
  7. I hope they open the whole stadium. The home is fine but I love standing on the back straight
  8. Great effort from the lions tonight. Lost by six makes the return leg very exciting.
  9. You've gotta feel for worrall. One off meeting and he's axed? I mean he would have come to leicester next week and probably scored double figures
  10. I can't believe the only time we will see Nicki is panthers colours is him on the opening night, heat 1 and he doesn't even make half a lap !
  11. It still hurts with how the season ended last year. My speedway mates still feel robbed of a grand final at home. Bridges do need to be fixed. Hopefully this season can sort that !
  12. I agree. But I do think king, Doyle, and even Joe Thomson should score enough at Leicester.
  13. I was hooked from there! Then I didn't go for a number of years when we moved back up to the prem. Now I'm back again! This time to stay
  14. When I first went in 2011 my dad didn't explain anything..I just figured it out after about 5 meetings..
  15. And I know are people are within the club on here and wanted an answer for peace of mind..really don't see an issue with it. I keep getting bombarded from my mates about why it wasn't on and I kept saying....you'll get used it! And that the rain done the damage days before. Trying to explain speedway to new fans is proving quite difficult
  16. If it's regarding my post about the drainage? I just got told by someone that there was an issue with the draining that's all. Hence why I wanted to clear it up on the forum and see if anyone can confirm that everything is fine track wise. I had around 11 new potential fans coming to the speedway on Thursday and are very disappointed why the meeting was postponed considering how good the weather was on that day. So I just wanted clear an rumour up.
  17. Don't know how true this but been told that the drainage has failed and isn't working properly? Is this true ?
  18. So if it rains heavily like it has before every meeting is basically off then? Like before the play off final last season? What was the drainage for? Will that be more effective in the summer for light rain?
  19. I'd like to see the track now..it's beautiful where I am
  20. It's a shame it's off but it is sods law. In a sneaky way of looking at it I didn't fancy us to win anyway with the lack of laps on home soil and Ipswich having a great start.
  21. To be fair Morris is a good as anyone at Leicester . Track record holder and I can't remember him ever being passed last season at Leicester. Think bomber is the one that may need a little support hence why Lawson is at 3.
