  1. Cracking side I reckon. A matter of keeping riders fit ofcourse
  2. Kings Lynn's side isn't built for heats 13 and 15. More like heat 2 ,12 14 etc
  3. Doesn't sound like a team with a budget for 500 fans attending
  4. Now teams are getting put in place it really makes you wonder who Birmingham are signing. If the rumoured teams are true then there isn't one heat leader I can think of who is signing. Lots of 4/5 point riders avaliable. Worrall, Sedgmen, S Lambert, Rory S, Kemp, Vuolas, Rew etc. They have to surely convince some foreign guys to come over. They have no choice really .
  5. Rumour has it Cook is signing for Berwick, makes the Cook to Leicester rumour even more convincing with Stewart managing both sides
  6. The rumours mill suggests just one or two changes. New number 6 and Howarth for Lawson
  7. As a Lions fan can I say how jealous I am of this side? If Ipswich don't have any serious injuries and don't win the league then I'm calling them 'spursy'
  8. Your right. We had a great season and probably over achieved slightly. We can moan all we want about how we would build the team but we always seem to perform well with Stewart in charge
  9. Controversial opinion here but I wouldn't have even had them running the last few years. Surely the money Tolley has lost could have been saved up to focus on bringing back the club in a more safe financial state. Workington managed to build a track out of nothing and the Tolley should have done something similar even if that meant re naming the club or even moving them out of the city. People will disagree with this point but I'd rather see the brummies not run for a number of years if that meant they could be force later down the line.
  10. I expect Douglas at the Lions but I could be wrong
  11. Kolodziej, Jepsen Jensen, Nilsson, Huckebeck, Hampel, Wornya, Kowalski, Zengota, R Jensen, Cierniak, M Hansen, Drabik, Wozniak, Buczkowski, Chugonoz, Loktayezv, Lyager, Bjerre, Thorsell etc. There's plenty more you can add to that list . Some would come on assessed 5,6,7 assessed averages. I doubt many of them would come to Birmingham. I imagine alot of riders wanting to try Britian would fancy a club with a good track record or riders that fancy improving there ability on technical tracks. Birmingham are a real mystery next season on who they bring in. Nobody knows
  12. I agree, the only route I can see them going is like King's Lynn team set up. Lots of 6pt riders because of the lack of GP riders wanting to ride in Britain. There's plenty of 6pt riders out there abroad but they could easily turn out like Pawlicki or Milik
  13. If brennan and Doyle sign which I expect to then what a great side
  14. There self employed so I don't blame them wanting to ride somewhere else to more earn money etc.
  15. Im pretty convinced from what TTT posted a while back about the team being Fricke, Howarth, Masters, Becker, Douglas and someone like Cookie at 6. Just cannot see Dickson going for a big hitter at 5. I still think the team is good though. Just doesn't have the balance and excitement I was hoping for. Atleast it's a side full of riders that we can rely on to turn up week in week out and not do a runner to Poland.
  16. Just watched the video on the brummies FB page with Chris Adams. He said a few new faces will be at Birmingham next season but got a no from every GP rider basically. Any guesses on who they are signing?
  17. More rumours suggest Masters and Douglas are staying at Leicester its highly likely they are true. I imagine Tolleys team will be just as bad as last seasons because of them announcing they are struggling financially.
  18. There was quite good Poole stand with some very very old racing jackets. It was a decent show to be honest
  19. Spoke with Tolley at the speedway show a few hours ago. Didn't give much away but said 3 riders are signed and two others waiting for approval.
  20. Was at the speeday show today. Lots of lions fans there and was great to speak to some riders and fans. Massive shame Leicester weren't there considering there was Oxford, Poole, Workington among others representing the club.
