  1. A league title decider would draw the same crowd in a normal fairer system.
  2. Well done Belle Vue play off winners. Glad I didn't go
  3. Why on earth they watered the track is beyond me. Don't they know we perform rubbish on wet tracks ??
  4. Phil Morris pushing more GP riders to Britian is actually financially ruining some clubs.
  5. 6 teams make the league even more embarrassing. Needs 8 ideally. Still always going to advocate for one big league. Sod the GP riders and promote our own kids.
  6. Birmingham have been piss poor for many years now. If tolley wanted the best for Birmingham speedway then he should shut it years ago. I'm assuming he's put in tens of thousands of his own money to the club, just think he could saved all that money returned the club in a much better financial situation. Take a step back to take two steps forward if you get me. Take 3/4 years out save a fortune and pump it back into the club and give it a right go. Instead of just barely surviving and having a rubbish team every season. I don't get this argument of supporters saying ' be grateful that you've got a club to support' , well nobody wants to see a losing team every season and if fans aren't turning up then what is the point? Ofcourse if my club went bust I'd miss it, but would I miss losing every week year in year out watching my club slowly die? No I wouldn't. I'd rather it go for abit and come back with a bang. The closures of Wolves and Peterborough are different, they were successful on and off the track. That's why it going to hurt more. Birmingham on the other hand are disaster and need to start from the very beginning. New stadium, track, location, would that work though? Doubt it. Clearly the brummies are just a poor supported club.
  7. That's what happened with Leicester that is correct. Difference is though Buster saw potential at Leicester. There isn't a lot of hope at Birmingham
  8. Just read it. It's nothing surprising. Club aren't making enough money and need more support. It's great that they aren't throwing in the towel but it feels like a slow closure of the club. Phil Morris should be trying everything in his power to try and get more investors and business's to support Birmingham. It would be a great shame to lose them as I feel they would never come back unless someone had very very very deep pockets. What can we do? Well I'm going to try get down there for the Leicester meetings, every little helps I guess. Fingers crossed they can run next year.
  9. I would be there but have the flu so il be supporting from home
  10. You'll be fine. Just get your gating gloves on and try get a heat advantage early on. I don't have much hope as a Lions fan
  11. Does anyone know how averages are worked out for a championship rider joining a premiership team? Have no idea
  12. 1st bend is deeper and closer to the food and drink. But it's completely up to you and the aces fans. The views at Leicester are good anywhere really. The back straight does produce the best atmosphere but is also extremely loud with the metal roof just above your head. So not many kids go there.
  13. The back straight is usually quite tight for space and your view will be probably be blocked. Also they close off a section towards the pits for eurosport cameras so even less space. Best bet is probably either right or left to the grand stand. Good view and close to facilities. The back straight fans at Leicester usually get there pretty early so if you want that spot then earlier the better.
  14. The landlord has seen the track and wasn't hopeful. This was a few days ago
  15. I'd take Kerr as well. Experienced and will get points everywhere. Something we've lacked this season at reserve
  16. That team would be great a home especially. Strong middle order. Top reserve in Dan T and more support for fricke in my eyes it's decent
  17. If it was up to me I'd go this team next season 1. Fricke 2. Sedgmen 3. Lawson 4. Becker 5. Huckenbeck 6. Dan Thompson 7. RS Dream land I know and probably unlikely but would love to see it
  18. Personally it works out better for me on Monday and if they can get the track dry then the Lions have a chance. But it's still a big battle to overcome 18pts
  19. I think Jason Edwards would do well at Leicester. He's not super fast Jason but I think around Leicester he could get dialled in. Kileen is also a good shout
  20. Me too especially if his average is retained. Although I think they would change it to 7. Jake Allen could return thought he did OK last time out at reserve. Need support for Fricke really away from the den
