It’s a whole different argument how clubs and fans interrupt the rules regarding replacement riders so I’m not getting into that but I thought Robert Lambert was super impressive last night, to turn up at a track which is nothing like he’s seen in a long while and show the speed whilst having to come from the back a couple of times as well, very impressive. The talent gap between Robert, Dan and supposedly the next up and comers in British speedway is massive.

I do like the varieties of the tracks in the UK but Belle Vue is definitely the best. Hopefully the staff at Ipswich can give us something a bit better than what we had last Monday.

Peaking at the right time is massive in sport. You’ve got one team here that was declared champions by the masses halfway through the year and another that was written off, tables have certainly turned now.

I can see the rules being looked at, they won’t want a repeat of this.

People mock the rules here about guests etc but I’d rather have what we have here then end up with a total mismatch of a final because of injuries. Ekstraliga does most things better than the UK Premiership but the rules behind covering injuries is not one.
