SGP wild cards 2024
JoeW436 replied to longmeadow's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
People seem to forget we (I’m British) where invading a new country in the Middle East every other month in the early 2000s (based on what turned out to be false claims) yet we weren’t banned from participating in world cups etc. Looks like the line up has gone down like a cup of cold sick on social media. Congrats Bartosz on another world title though. -

No way is that the best 15 riders in the world, dreadful. -
BSPA will bury their heads in the sand then wonder why there are only 5 teams registered for the top league come March, then they may do something at that point when it’s far too late.
-
Carrying that trophy off the stage will probably be his biggest challenge this GP season.
-
Well done Bartosz…but we need Emil and Artem back.
-
Will Dudek be allowed to finish in front of Bartosz?

Feels like this meeting started in 1973.

Oh Robert, always in the big moments
-
Very suss is what it was.
-
Kubera definitely got the memo from the Polish powers above
-
Boot Doyle this time, you had your chance.
-
Well done Max Fricke, if the others raced Bartosz like that this year he might not of walked it like he has.
-
Since LagutaRacingFan is probably busy on business tonight in London up the Shard his Polish equivalent has joined the forum.

He got bullied in his last race, I don’t think it’s something you can really work on either, you’ve either got it or you haven’t.
-
I can see Bewley dropping a league next year, I think doing all 3 leagues is catching up with him.
-
Luke Becker replacing Jan Kvech, confirmed.

It’s a whole different argument how clubs and fans interrupt the rules regarding replacement riders so I’m not getting into that but I thought Robert Lambert was super impressive last night, to turn up at a track which is nothing like he’s seen in a long while and show the speed whilst having to come from the back a couple of times as well, very impressive. The talent gap between Robert, Dan and supposedly the next up and comers in British speedway is massive.
