Like I said last year with the current land costs in Peterborough being so high it’s hard for even a money making business to justify buying land in the town let alone a speedway club.
The writing was on the wall when he had his bump at the showground, a young lad would of been getting straight up from that, it was always a risk signing a 46 year old who had just recovered from major injuries.
I think in the midst of this Nicki Pedersen hysteria the news that no positive progress on the future of the club is far more concerning.
It’s harsh but I don’t think many were that keen in the first place. There was already a lot of anger at the club after last years farce too, we was turning up to meetings with 2 guests and R/R some weeks, a few have also fallen for the crap that was being promised over the winter
What an embarrassing situation, I feel for anyone that believes the crap that comes from that management (whoever that may be) because even that isn’t clear
Can see why they wrap him in cotton wool, they’d be crap without him, a bit like us really…just unfortunately their wallet is bigger than ours, and that’s even with the Belfast sugar daddy.
And by the way first evening watching the polish meetings, the presentation is far slicker but it’s not like the racing is much better.
