Some former British Speedway HL's haven't been the same since the country locked down over a cough that could've been cured with lemsip. Batchelor, Cook, King etc. They all had 7-8pt GSA's at one stage.

I just can't see him maintaining his average when the league will be much stronger next season if the rumours are true. For me it's a case of not making the same mistakes as this season and that's signing riders on high averages that are far more likely to drop than improve.

I'd take Tungate next season. I'd be shocked if he's at Ipswich when he struggles to ride technical tracks.
