Barely anyone cares about tin pot derbies.
-
Maybe they're waiting until next season for a stronger League featuring more teams as part of a British Speedway reset?
-
British Speedway has to be on ITV or Sky Sports imo. Premier Sports just doesn't have the numbers to grow the Sport and I can't see people signing up to TNT Sports just for Speedway tbh, BSN is great for die hards but that's not going to get new fans on board either imo. Pretty much everyone will have Sky Sports if they're a Sports fan as it's got everything you want so if British Speedway was going behind a subscription service then Sky is the best option as it's the most likely platform to get new fans on board but that boat has sailed unfortunately. Only other way I see the Sport growing is ITV4 because it's free to air, So let's see what happens next season.

Tobi would be the first name on the team sheet if I was in charge for sure. Just looking at his GSA though (7.92) I'm not sure if Mayfield can fit him in with a No.1 and Woryna tbh.
-
Think we'll only bring King and Brennan back tbh. Want Musielak but his GSA is currently over half a point higher than King's plus Danny gets the British Reduction as well which would free up almost an extra point for a stronger No.6.
-
If Belle Vue don't win then it'll be a bigger choke than Arsenal's collapse to PSG in last years UCL Final. Only way Belle Vue lose is if they have a howler around Sheffield because King's Lynn are just meh and Ipswich/Leicester can't ride the NSS for toffee to a point where they'd have to win the Home Leg by almost 30 Points to stand a chance of beating the Aces.
-
Sorting out the reserves is going to be just as important as the No.1 position in regards to 2027. Think it's fair to say that Kevin Juhl Pedersen rode above his level on his debut guest appearence around Northampton that ultimately pulled the wool over everyone's eyes from the fans to the management.
-
Not stropping BB, I'm just a realest. I'm not invested at all about finishing 4th because it means an away trip to our worst away track statistically that'll just result in us getting battered anyway. Lawson and Nicholls simply can't ride the place for toffee and that's our No.1 & 2 pairing, That's 15-3 to Belle Vue before we even move on to the other 12 Heats.
-
You're welcome to it lol.
-
Not annoyed, I honestly don't care about finishing 4th as we'd only lose the Home and Away tie to Belle Vue in the Play-Offs anyway.
-
Nobody remembers who finished 4th or 5th in any Sport whether it's a Team or Individual basis.
-
Couldn't care less about the result because the play-offs are irrelevant to me as we've proven all season that we can't compete over two legs against Belle Vue, Leicester or Sheffield therefore it really doesn't matter if we finish 4th or not. All about 2027 for me, Musielak has to be retained and if he's not then a serious question needs to be asked straight away imo because his heat wins have kept some of our home results somewhat respectable. Reserves need looking at because we've made bang average riders like Kemp and Zischke look far too good around Foxhall this season.
-
Can't have Woryna as No.1 so you'd think it's a 50/50 call between King and Musielak as to who fills the 3rd Heat Leader spot. King crowd favourite and has been fantastic all season but he'll be on a average that he won't attain in a stronger League. Musielak on the other hand has proven that he's able to attain big averages in a stronger League when not riding as a No.1. For me Mayfield really should pencil these three in (Riding Order) and then build the rest of the side around them. 3. T. Musielak 4. T. Brennan 5. K. Woryna
-
I'm not sure that he's giving 100% for King's Lynn tbh. GSA sky rocketed last season so I think he's riding with his head a bit more this year to avoid a repeat situation in 2027.
-
Get the feeling a 15 Point Max is incoming as well.
-
It's delusion to think riders will choose CHAMP over PREM in 2027 tbh. If CHAMP clubs were happy to pay PREM wages then they'd race in the PREM.
-
I'd love to have Emil back personally, I was just thinking about riders who ride for Wroclaw and who also ride in the Swedish League. Danish riders will have to ride in Denmark you'd think due to sponsors and if Doyley is plan B then plan A has to be a big name as they'll have big shoes to fill if Doyley isn't signed. Personally I'd take Max Fricke @ No.1, He seems like the best fit when it comes to riders who can win races around Belle Vue and Sheffield.
-
What's Artem Laguta's stance on the Swedish situation? Wroclaw rider as well.
-
Too many Clubs have race day's / night's on FRI/SAT in the CHAMP which makes the decision an easy one tbh.
-
Domino effect potentially on the cards due to the Wroclaw agreement as well as the Swedish tyre fiasco. Bewley -> Ipswich Fricke -> Belle Vue Lambert -> King's Lynn
-
I wouldn't be surprised tbh, Doyley would want a local Club that's not named King's Lynn when it comes to British Speedway imo.
-
Brennan really shouldn't have signed for Bydgoszcz with the team they had tbh. When it comes to young Brits in Poland, They should sign for the teams with the weakest line-ups as it'll increase the chances of starts.
-
No that's in the past, I'm just saying that the script has been flipped now due to the Polish ruling and it's quite ironic considering what happend last winter.
-
Even riders like McDiarmid and Cairns are currently riding in the Ekstraliga. Going to be a drastically weaker product next season.
-
Think everyone just got fed up in the end last winter as it was just dragging on for too long.
