  1. True, Ipswich should still be winning though as 10 rides is still above average for the weakest reserves in the league outside of Birmingham.
  2. Been a lot tougher as of late with 365 getting to know their Speedway well but tonight I see value. EMIL SAYFUTDINOV Over 9 @ 11/10 (Emil has really got it together after a slow start to the season and he's firing on all cylinders now, Should get 5 rides tonight as well) JAIMON LIDSEY Over 8 @ 21/20 (Always scores well around the NSS and I think 9 from 4 is more than achievable looking at his races on paper)
  3. Would be a dreadful result if Ipswich don't win this now. Zischke and Mulford will have to take 11 rides between them so no excuses.
  4. Paying Tax should be optional and not mandatory.
  5. Can't see Birmingham winning another meeting this season, King's Lynn can't afford to get complacent though.
  6. BV will win the HL battle, Ipswich will win the reserve battle, Result comes down to the 2nd String Battle. 47 - 43 either way.
  7. He's lacking race sharpness imo. Found himself at a clown show club in Poland where he doesn't get regular meetings and everyone is arguing with each other off the track. Doesn't race in Sweden either.
  8. Don't think it's a case of Sheffield being poor on the night, I just think Leicester are a very good side and R/R is making them even stronger. Howarth and Kemp have upped their game this year and Douglas is getting better, Masters returning to his old rock solid Wolves form backing up a proper No.1 in Fricke who's dialled in on every British track now.
  9. I wouldn't blame him either however I do think they'll see out the season.....Just not with the current 1-7. I can't see Zagar lasting much longer as I think payment issues could arrise if only 100 fans turn up at Perry Barr for example.
  10. Musielak in particular needs to lower his, Two years running he's ended up a lower end clubs due to his average. Ipswich, BV and Sheffield would jump at the chance of signing him if he was on a 6.50 for example.
  11. Reducing admission prices won't change a thing if the top riders aren't here imo, If anything it would backfire imo. If you reduce admission to let's say £10 instead of £20 then you'll need to get double the amount of fans turn up just to end up with the same gate money on the night, Where are they going to come from? Bank Holiday attendances are good because everyone is off work. Speedway taking place mid-week probably has an impact on attendances as well because Parents are working until 6-7 PM and it's a School Night for the kids etc. That's probably one of the reasons as to why you see a lot of older aged fans attend on a regular basis, Especially the TV meetings. Another problem that Speedway has is that Britain is just too good at Sports unlike other countries to a point where Sports fans are spoilt for choice over here when it comes to attending Sporting events. Speedway in the UK is competing with Darts, Football, Rugby, Cricket, Numerous Top Horse Racing Events throughout the year etc because barely anyone can afford to attend multiple Sporting events on a regular basis. So it's a choice and something has to give, Youngsters will opt for the Darts just for the beer, Die Hard Football fans will always buy tickets to support their PL club etc. so Speedway will be way down the pecking order. I love Speedway and it's the best Sport in the world imo but even I can't see a scenario where things can be turnt around.
  12. Don't blame Tolley for cutting costs with the amount of money he's put in. Season's over for Birmingham anyway and the fans wouldn't even turn up even if they got an Ekstraliga rider in imo.
  13. Don't think Stewart Dickson was joking about him being aware that Nick Morris ban is ending. If averages weaken Leicester's R/R options then I can see Nick joining the Lions as well as the Bandits in the Championship.
  14. Would Redcar move up considering they already put out teams mostly full of Premiership riders? PREM - Belle Vue, Ipswich, King's Lynn, Leicester, Redcar, Scunthorpe & Sheffield CHAM - Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oxford, Plymouth, Poole & Workington
  15. I agree but the point I'm putting across is that Promoters won't have a business to run unless a compromise is met if it's one big league after we lose a few clubs this winter.
  16. Promotions will have to compromise to keep the Sport going over here imo. Big winter coming up.
  17. True, However if it's a choice between Mon/Tue/Thu or no race night at all then he'll have to accept it imo. Don't think clubs will get away with being picky about race nights if we lose a few clubs this winter.
  18. Logical thing would be one big league and 5 Man Teams (Danish League Format) with Race Nights held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday imo. Poland can keep the Friday to Sunday slot, Danish riders can still ride in their Home country on a Wednesday and then it'll just leave riders choosing between Britain and Sweden which some already do. I think they'll go for two leagues again though (7-7 Split) with Scunny and one other moving up to save the Premiership. PREM - Belle Vue, Ipswich, King's Lynn, Leicester, Scunthorpe, Sheffield + Glasgow or Poole CHAM - Berwick, Edinburgh, Oxford, Plymouth, Redcar, Workington + Glasgow or Poole
  19. Think Play-Off Bob will return to Britain full time next season now that he's best chance of being World Champion has passed. Fell off a cliff in the GP's this year due to riding too many carpet rugs that don't require throttle control. Hardly a coincidence that riders who are high up in the GP standings behind Zmarzlik all ride in Britain or in Lindgren's case has years of experience on rougher / tougher British tracks.
  20. I think Leicester will finish 3rd and BV 4th. BV have a lot of difficult fixtures to come yet (Including 4 Meetings vs. Ipswich)
  21. BV lucky that Kvech is injured. KL have started to click recently and have put up some very good showings on the road.
  22. Leicester lost that in Heats 1-6, From Heat 7 onwards the score was 28 - 26 in favour of the Lions. The best two teams in the league for me at this moment in time, BV and Sheffield are very flaky away from Home. Tonight was a dress rehearsal for the Grand Final imo.
