  1. Basing this on the upcoming team changes. 1. Belle Vue - Zagar for Allen makes more than a big difference, It takes them from being nailed on for the wooden spoon all the way to title winners, 3 HL's, Charles Wright as a second string with Tom Brennan at reserve would be unstoppable imo, Not even Sheffield would be able to take them down over two legs. 2. Sheffield - Reserves have done better than I expected them to during the Cup Matches and if that continues then Sheffield are likely to meet Belle Vue in the Grand Final imo. 3. Peterborough - All about Basso staying fit, He's a Match Winner who will guide us to victory on numerous occasions this season if he stays fit. 4. King's Lynn - Would be placed second if NKI was going to do a full season but it sounds like he isn't and I don't think PK will be able to do half the job NKI could for the Stars. 5. Wolves - Will surprise some people on here but I don't think they've got a reserve who can ride Monmore Green as highlighted in the Cup Matches so far, Too much pressure on the 1-5 to carry them at Home and I don't think they'd get away with it against stronger sides in the league, Beaten by Sheffield twice already and they would've lost to Belle Vue twice as well if Zagar was riding instead of Allen imo. 6. Ipswich - Tailed well off and not even competitive.
  2. Birmingham are toast now. £8 off a future match is a terrible decision that reeks of desperation from the amateur chancer Rodgers and his consortium. Effectively saying 'We can't afford to give our punters a full refund'
  3. I'd be surprised if Birmingham see out the season after tonight. Some punters won't return after the shambles that's taken place tonight.
  4. Easy KL win now that the track specialist is out. R/R won't be able to cover the points Tofty would score around Lynn. Lynn by 10.
  5. Two bets on the Danish fixture tonight. NICOLAI KLINDT 0 vs. Rasmus Jensen Mads Hansen Over 9
  6. Few team changes needed at Leicester already. Shouldn't be losing that heavily on the road twice back-to-back.
  7. Hardly anything to shout about. 0's galore after Ht 2 and it's been the story over the cup fixtures. Kemp at Monmore this season -> 2, 0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0, FX Flint at Monmore this season -> 0, 2, 0, 1, 2*, 0, 0, 0
  8. Problem in the Wolves team around Monmore is being highlighted again tonight (They don't have a reserve who can ride the track) Should look at replacing Leon Flint with someone like Max Clegg
  9. 3/3 again for today's second meeting, Just Wolves -10 for me tonight to complete the full set hopefully. Good luck all and I'm glad @heathcote took the bookies to the cleaners too during the Panthers vs. KL meeting.
  10. Wouldn't worry about today's result. Lot's of positives to take from today imo, To keep the meeting that close with our key team member being absent and our No.1 withdrawing from the meeting is some achievement against a full strength KL side.
  11. Sack Barbara Horley for the sake of the sport, 30 Minute delay because she's not capable of putting the red light on when the tapes didn't go up fairly. Beyond amateurish.
  12. Get a move on Barbs. Emmerdale starts in 20 Minutes.
  13. We're going to lose anyway so can we just get on with the rest of the meeting please referee.
  14. Speedy recovery MPT. Not too bothered about the result as it was always going to be an easy KL victory after Basso was unavailable, That change alone is a double digit swing in the meeting.
  15. Retiring? Don't see why he would want to leave a track he earns good money on to join a track where he wouldn't make half as much money due to him not being half as good on those tracks.
  16. Wolves -10 at Home to Belle Vue @ 1/1 fill ya boots.
  17. Easy 3/3 from start to finish, Now onto the Panthers vs. KL meeting. KL +6 (Panthers missing the key rider in the side with Simon Lambert stepping in, That's an 8-10 swing in KL's favour imo) Iversen Over 8 (Undermarked here imo for someone who's got years worth of track knowledge on the Peterborough circuit) Lawson Over 7 (Has been in fantastic form this season and 8 seems perfectly achievable)
  18. Very mixed back yesterday at 3-4 although it should've been 4-3 if it wasn't for a clueless referee. (Meeting result could yet be overturned) Today's early meeting picks. DREW KEMP +2 vs. Norick Blodorn @ 1/1 (If Kemp gets the better of Blodorn in Heat 2 then this bet should come in comfortably imo) CHARLES WRIGHT 0 vs. Luke Becker (Charles is riding with Jake Allen whilst Becker is riding with the track specialist in Douglas) WOLVES to win (Not as confident in this one as the other two but I'm banking on one of the Wolves reserves turning up and putting in a performance to see the Wolf pack to victory, Flint likes the bigger tracks and Kemp seems to have hit some form for Poole recently)
  19. Sedgmen, Bates, Keleher, Maybe look for a new EU rider or get in contact with former Diamonds about a return.
  20. Newcastle management have embarrassed themselves by putting out a team that's not even competitive. Look at what Birmingham achieved and they built that side on a budget whilst everyone else got a head start in team building. Have to replace BWD, Complin & Congreve just to ensure the clubs safety because fans won't put in the cash for much longer when you consider the prices of petrol and house bills these days.
  21. We'll lose this meeting now. Our team relies on a power scoring reserve, Partnership of S. Lambert & J. Palin will get dominated by Richie Worrall.
  22. 4/4 Yesterday so today I'll place a few extra bets than I normally do. Bydgoszcz -18 (This should be a mauling on paper imo but Speedway isn't ridden on paper so the bet could fall just short but the big handicap is worth chancing imo) Gniezno to win (If Timo Lahti is riding then I'll cash out on this bet but it sounds like NKI is going to ride so on that basis I'll have to go with the home side edging a close one) Unia Leszno vs. Stal Gorzow (Few bets placed on this, Couple of Leszno riders are being undermarked at Home imo) Janusz Kolodziej Over 9 Piotr Pawlicki Over 8 Unia Leszno to win Motor Lublin vs. Czestochowa Motor Lublin -8 (I don't rate Czestochowa at all and I don't understand the managements logic at the club, Bringing back the full team that wasn't good enough to make the play-offs last year makes no sense to me, The teams strength is at reserve but that's irrelevant today as they're up against a duo that's just as strong if not stronger, Poor last week at Home to a Leszno team that's nothing to rave about suggests nothing has changed from last year imo) Maksym Drabik Over 9 (10 points from 6 rides seems very fair to me)
  23. Przyjemski Over Lampart to start things off. Then the latter meetings get more difficult but I've gone for Mads Hansen Over 8 in the Rybnik v Landshut Match. I'm not that confident but the only bet that looks decent enough in the Torun v Ostrow match is Chris Holder Over 11 considering he's likely to get 6 rides. Could be some value in backing Grudziadz to beat Wroclaw today.
