  1. Surely, as the Phil Morris choice of top of the table, Leicester will have choice of final leg, and will choose to have the second leg at home, regardless of who the opponents are?
  2. Ivan Mauger scored a 21-maximum in 1966 in a 16-heat Cup match, but Henny Kroeze scored the first 21 maximum in a normal 13-heat league match.
  3. Belle Vue fans must be fuming with Phil Morris. If the rules had been followed fairly, it would be them peeing all over Leicester, and into the final. Rather than getting knocked out by Sheffield next week.
  4. Yes, this huge disadvantage of having the weakest Rising Stars must explain why Leicester and Belle Vue with the weakest Rising Stars, are scrapping it out at the bottom of the league, and King's Lynn and Birmingham with the two strongest Rising Stars, are fighting out the play-off final.
  5. The team with the second leg know what they need to pull back. They have the advantage of having any "super heat" at home Their crowd get to see the trophy presented.
  6. Yes, but probably want to crack on with it, and are confident of winning, even without having to have the second leg advantage.
  7. Would have thought Poole would want the advantage of the second leg, but maybe they just want to crack on with it, and are confident of winning either way, so they've gone for the first leg.
  8. We can't know the play-off semi-finals yet, as it is 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd. First and second are yet to be decided. Even under the old system where first gets choice of opponents, we can't know the semi-finals yet, as first is still up for grabs. YET WE KNOW THE SEMI-FINAL LINE-UP. In the style of a Russian presidential election, it has been fiddled. The system has been shown to be corrupt, The rules, and all semblance of fairness, have been thrown out of the window. Phil Morris was brought in as Premiership supremo, to ensure the rules are followed. To ensure fairness. To ensure the sport doesn't look Mickey Mouse. To ensure the sport doesn't shoot itself in the foot. To ensure the sport doesn't look an amateur shambles of pathetic self-interest. Phil Morris isn't a volunteer. Phil Morris is paid handsomely to do the job. Ultimately with supporters' money. Phil Morris has failed on every level. Time to go, Phil Morris.
  9. Not to my knowledge, but apparently Sheffield have put Brennan down for both meetings in the line-up submitted to the referee(?) Perhaps they've since realised their cock-up, hence the reason neither team seems to have put out full lineups yet.
  10. So, with one-and-a-half matches left, I'd say you must've failed basic maths.
  11. I've heard of some strange rider demands, but I didn't know the club was supposed to supply that!
  12. They've either ridden 7.5 matches, or only one team turned up for one match
  13. From: "Nobody knows what time it starts" to: "Actually everyone knows what time it starts because it clearly says 6.00pm in all the advertising" to: "Well.... erm.... erm.... You should tell someone else too. Does seem to be the most bizarre self-own of all time!
  14. There were only 2 passes after the second bend of lap 1 though...
  15. Think you may well have the wrong end of the stick with half the information.
  16. Klindt is third in the KL averages. The one immediately above (Basso) can take a ride, and anyone below (Iversen, Kvech, Wojdylo, Rowe)
  17. Surely he'd be bottom of the list, due to his loyalty to Oxford? I'd imagine BV would use their own asset Jake Mulford, who was their rising star last season until getting injured and being switched for Connor Bailey. Antti Vuolas would be my choice at No.6
  18. Says who? If I wanted to buy Swaffham tomorrow and open it for speedway, why shouldn't I be allowed to? Was Cradley "instead of" Wolves. Is Notts. Forest "instead of" Notts. County?
  19. Any idea when it will be? Nothing showing on the dates yet. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/2024-ndlrc-series/
  20. Wolverhampton fans didn't support Cradley. They were rivals 8 miles apart. Why wouldn't King's Lynn want a local rival?
  21. Swaffham is only 13 miles from King's Lynn. But then again, Wolverhampton was only 8 miles from Cradley Heath...
