King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
StarBoy replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Kings Lynn already tried to stand up to them and got fined 2 points for breaching SCB regulations. It’s also the reason why Kvech isn’t making his debut tomorrow as there’s a rearranged Zielona Gora fixture because someone sold the Thursday protected race night to the highest bidder… -

Then why would we bother signing Kvech then? Surely if you knew Tobi was leaving, you would bring in another rider of similar ilk to him and not Kvech to beef up the middle order? Being a GP rider can’t imagine Kvech comes in cheap and if he knew Lynn were desperate he would use that to his advantage anyway? Surely if it was a pure cost-cutting exercise like it’s being suggested then you would have just signed Zach Cook and not even bothered exploring further afield and gone with a team like this… 1. Klindt 2. Z Cook 3. Wojdylo 4. NKI 5. Basso 6. S Lambert 7. Rowe -

There shouldn’t be any reason why he isn’t in the team at this point. Apparently Ostrow aren’t putting any pressure on him like Wroclaw and Grudziadz have, plus he enjoys the UK and is committed to riding here -

Can’t believe he let the cat out of the bag during the Scunthorpe v Berwick meeting on Friday -
As you say, if he can score his assessed average consistently then that’s all that can be asked of him. Anything extra is a bonus. Getting Paddy back at reserve was key, but as tonight proved riding in the hardest position in the 1-7 proved he can mix it. Unsure how Rob will line them up, but if it was me I’d go as follows: 1. TM 2. NKI 3. JK 4. BB 5. NK 6. PW 7. AR

Does if you make 2 changes which is highly likely now Z Cook is available MPT & NKi - out RL & ZC - in 1. Tobi - 8.21 2. Patryk - 5.47 3. Basso - 6.57 4. Klindt - 6.60 5. Lambert - 7.81 6. Cook - 4.84 7. Rowe - RS total - 39.5 That certainly is an extremely expensive team, but if we could pull that off the season is no where near from being over

Assuming you’re a Belle Vue fan? is there really any difference to Brady Kurtz riding in the SPG Challenge in Zarnovica on 25.05.2024 and then refusing to rider for BV against Sheffield on the following Bank Holiday Monday 27.05.24 If you’re going to come after Chapman at least make sure your own club doesn’t do the same thing

You’ve peaked my interest. Care to elaborate…?

Take a punt on Jake Allen/Simon Lambert? Surely can’t perform any worse than what MPT has delivered so far this season…? 1. Tobi 2. Patryk 3. NKI 4. Basso 5. Klindt 6. Allen/ S Lambert 7. Rowe Doesn’t look the most competitive team and ideally you would want to bring someone in that keeps Paddy at reserve, but need to find a replacement for MPT as can’t run guests or R/R at reserve as per the new averages -

Can’t see it now. The witches will be gunning for every rider that has even shown the slightest interest in riding over here. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Doyle and Ellis out and 2 new faces in. -
Never understood why other UK clubs and Sweden don’t suffer the same issues. In the last two seasons Lynn have had 2 riders from Grudziaz (Jakobsen and Tarasenko) been told to walk away. Why haven’t Ipswich, Leicester and Belle Vue suffered the same problem with Doyle, Fricke and Lidsey…? And another one in Laguta fully controlled from Wroclaw. What about Bewley, Woffinden and Janowski? Not trying to make excuses for Lynn, just seems that whenever we bring in riders we are controlled by what Poland says, but doesn’t seem to affect other clubs…

Well depending on how KL interpret the regulations there is no reason why those two couldn’t come in on 6.00 -

Thankfully as per the SCB regulations they both fulfil the criteria to come in on 6pt averages -

Glad someone cottoned on to the pun! Now I’m not an accountant, but if they’re prepared to talk to him, money can’t be an issue…

Was obviously going to be appealed. According to KL statements (they did everything correctly and by the book) -

Personally I wouldn’t get rid of Pawlicki anyway if I was Brum. He’s riding so far out of his depth at No. 1. With Freddie coming in there is far much less pressure on him to perform if others are struggling. I think Z Cook might be the one to go, and I’d take him in a heartbeat over MPT. trouble is another change would be required anyway as that doesn’t realistically make us stronger/more competitive. Need a team to look like this: 1. Tobi 2. Birmingham castaway (Cook, Worrall) 3. Basso 4. Klindt 5. 6.5 - 7.5 rides from overseas 6. Patryk 7. Anders -

Definitely not what is needed at the Norfolk Arena. Could barely get through 4 laps on his last visit 02/05. -
Money isn’t an issue if you knew the type of Dudes that KL have been speaking too…

This comment! But who do you propose? they don’t seem to be queuing up to come over to the UK, as seen by Birmingham replacing Milik with Sedgeman and they need big hitters more than what we do… -
King’s Lynn vs Sheffield, May 16th 2024

Heat 1: 3-3 (J Holder, Fricke, Iversen, Howarth) Heat 2: 5-1 (Patryk, Rowe, Edwards, Gilkes) Heat 3: 2-4 (C Holder, Basso, Pickering, MPT) Heat 4: 3-3 (Woffinden, Klindt, Rowe, Gilkes) Heat 5: 3-3 (J Holder, Basso, MPT, Howarth) Heat 6: 4-2 (Fricke, Woffinden, Iversen, Edwards) Heat 7: 2-4 (Pickering, Patryk, C Holder, Klindt) Heat 8: 5-1 (Iversen, Rowe, Howarth, Gilkes) Heat 9: 3-3 (Woffinden, Basso, MPT, Edwards) Heat 10: 4-2 (Fricke, C Holder, Iversen, Pickering) Heat 11: 3-3 (J Holder, Patryk, Klindt, Howarth) Heat 12: 3-3 (C Holder, Patryk, MPT, Edwards) Heat 13: 2-4 (Woffinden, Fricke, J Holder, Klindt) Heat 14: 4-2 (Patryk, Pickering, Basso, Gilkes) Heat 15: 1-5 (Woffinden, J Holder, Fricke, Patryk) 47-43 although it is going to take an almighty effort for the boys to do it. However, after last night I think Sheffield are there for the taking. Our best riders this season are probably 2, 6 and 7 and that’s their weakness that we need to exploit.
