  1. Will be close, but I think we should just nick it - 48-42. R/R 2. Basso - 6(4) 3. Cook - 11(6) 4. Iversen - 3(4) 5. Kvech - 14(6) 6. Wojdylo - 10(5) 7. Rowe - 4(4) Birmingham 1. Lindgren - 15(5) 2. Worrall - 5(4) 3. Sedgmen - 6(4) 4. Lampart - 2(4) 5. Brennan - 10(5) 6. Pawlicki - 4(4) 7. Flint - 0(4)
  2. Ben Cook confirmed as guest on Thursday. 1-7 as follows: 1. R/R 2. Basso 3.Cook 4. NKI 5. Kvech 6. Wojdylo 7. Rowe
  3. With only BV not riding looks like the only realistic guest for Klindt is B Cook or do we go for one of the recently released riders (Kerr or Mountain)? Probable lineups King’s Lynn 1. R/R 2. B Cook 3. Iversen 4. Basso 5. Kvech 6. Wojdylo RS. Rowe Birmingham 1. Lindgren 2. S Worrall 3. Lampart 4. Sedgeman 5. Brennan 6. Pawlicki RS. Flint Lynn desperately need to win this, and should do, but don’t think it will be easy - 48-42
  4. They’ve provided evidence on social media to all the keyboard warriors that the track is waterlogged (not that they should have to justify anything to the fans). I live 5 mins away from the Stadium was raining continuously from 5:30 to 7:15. Not that I’m an expert, the track looked rideable but definitely not raceable - who would want to see 15 processional races of follow the leader?
  5. Thoughts and predictions ahead of this one. Full team news to be announced today I assume. My proposed 1-7 Sheffield Tigers 1. Jack Holder - 12(5) 2. Kyle Howarth - 6(4) 3. Chris Holder - 9(4) 4. Josh Pickering - 7(4) 5. Tai Woffinden - 11(5) 6. Jason Edwards - 3(5) 7. Dan Gilkes - 1(3) King’s Lynn Stars 1. Ryan Douglas - 9(5) 2. Niels Kristian Iversen - 4(4) 3. Ben Basso - 5(4) 4. Ben Cook - 6(4) 5. Jan Kvech - 7(5) 6. Patryk Wojdylo - 7(5) 7. Anders Rowe - 3(3) Going to be a real tough one for the Stars to defend the 10-point lead. Will need a big night from Kvech and the 2 reserves if we’re going to make it to the magic 41 points
  6. If we are going to replace Nicolai (will find out more today the extent of his injury) we need to get it right, as after last nights result the playoffs are definitely not out of sight. Interesting to hear Scotty mention the 2-point deduction and hoping that we get it overturned. Does he know something we don’t?
  7. £1.2m a season just from Lublin is outrageous. £85k a meeting £17k a minute
  8. Looking for 5-1’s in Heats 1, 6 and 10 and a 4-2 in heat 8
  9. Interesting article that came out of Polish media is that Dan Bewley is on £1500 a point at Wroclaw, works out at about £10000 -15000 a meeting. Can imagine the 4x world champ dictates a bit more than that lets say £2500 a point, so £25000 a meeting. Cant imagine a world where Ipswich can pay anything close to that (£10k tops). Nevertheless, still not chump change.
  10. Confirmed lineups Birmingham Brummies: 1. Lindgren 2. Brennan 3. Sedgeman 4. Lampart 5. Worrall 6. Pawlicki 7. Flint King’s Lynn Stars 1. Tungate 2. Basso 3. Klindt 4. Iversen 5. Kvech 6. Wojdylo 7. Rowe I’ll go for a narrow Brummies win: 46-44
  11. Confirmed / my proposed guests for Tobi 24th June v Birmingham (a) - Rohan Tungate 27th June v Sheffield (a) - Richard Lawson 1st July v Leicester (h) - Tom Brennan 4th July v Birmingham (h) - Might have to go R/R as only BV not racing 15th July v Leicester (h) - Tobi should be back as suspension ends on 14th July
  12. Stand every chance of winning this and adding 3 more points to the total. if not, the bonus point is at least a must. Only question marks for me are Jan and Patryk and how they will adapt to PB
  13. I’d go with Pickering - was due to guest for us before he got injured. Scored 8 last time he was there in March
  14. @AceBelle where’s Brady? Thought it was no question he’d be in the team tomorrow? As I said before, check the morals of your own team and riders and make sure they don’t the same thing as others before criticising :)
  15. I remember there was some talk of you signing a GP rider, but that seems to have gone all quiet…?
  16. Lynn fan here. Just questioning are Przedpelski and Lindback really upgrades for Oxford? Don’t think Tungate is cut out to be a No. 1 on a consistent basis after seeing him last night. Think they need to find a top-level rider on an 8.00 and push everyone down a place. 1. Laguta? Janowski could tempt him… know he wasn’t the most reliable for us last year, a lot of factors contributed to that though 2. Harris 3. Wright 4. Janowski 5. Tungate 6. Kerr 7. Boughen
  17. If I was to guesstimate I would say typical crowds this season have been 1200-1500. Last night was probably 900-1000
  18. That will be the next 28 day suspension then. Janowski withholding services due to focusing on GPs
  19. Better do some rain dances then to ensure that gets pushed back into Mid-August
