  1. Still sticking with 51-39. Fricke - 12/5 Castagna - 5/4 Harris - 9/5 B Cook - 9/4 Kvech - 7/4 Rushen - 7/5 Mulford - 2/3 Total - 51 Kurtz - 13/6 Blodorn - 3/4 Thomson - 2/4 Z Cook - 7/4 Bewley - 11/5 Zischke - 2/4 Cairns - 1/3 Total - 39
  2. 1. Fricke Kurtz 2. Castagna Blodorn 3. Harris Thomson (G) 4. B Cook Z Cook 5. Kvech Bewley 6. Rushen Zischke 7. Mulford (G) Cairns Stars middle order and reserves should see them over the line in this one. Aces tail looks very, very long. Bewley and Kurtz will put up some resistance. 51-39

  4. Positive for the Stars last night that Kvech looked more like the rider he is capable of being. Unfortunate that B Cook now appears to be struggling. If Rob can get a tune out of Harris, Cook and Kvech at the same time Lynn will be dangerous as with Fricke at 1 you’re always guaranteed a minimum of 10 points. With young Coops also starting to score quite heavily, Paco chipping in with 3-5 and Jody beating his opposing RS the team does look on the up it’s just about finding the consistency of all 7 at the same time.

  6. I’m not sure on the actual ruling whether they have to be declared or can be used as guests but I do know they can only use riders not in another 1-7
  7. Ref guests for rising stars believe you have to pick an unattached one from the RS list. As this is the same problem Lynn had last year when Boughen decided to jack it in…
  8. If Lynn don’t win this then the season might as well be over now (I know it’s a dead rubber KO cup match but the signs wouldn’t look very good). 42-48. Northampton Foxes 1. Lidsey - 10 (6) 2. Batchelor - 5 (4) 3. Z Cook - 9 (5) 4. Kerr - 4 (4) 5. Klindt - 8 (4) 6. Thomson - 5 (5) 7. Harrison - 1 (3) Total - 42 King’s Lynn Stars 1. Fricke - 12 (5) 2. Castagna - 3 (4) 3. Harris - 10 (5) 4. B Cook - 9 (4) 5. Kvech - 7 (4) 6. Rushen - 4 (4) 7. Scott - 3 (4) Total - 48
  9. But he has an established prem average achieved last year, surely that could be used if Lynn have the necessary remaining points available?

  11. I would say Jonas Jeppesen if the points allow it with May change in averages. Regardless if he likes Ipswich or not, your no. 2 should not be beaten under any circumstance by the opposing rising star.
  12. Away win for me this time round (although by the smallest of margins). 44-46. Ipswich Witches 1. Tom Brennan - 6 (4) 2. Danny King - 9 (5) 3. Richard Lawson - 8 (5) 4. Scott Nicholls - 6 (4) 5. Tobiasz Musielak - 7 (4) 6. Jordan Jenkins - 3 (4) 7. Jason Edwards - 5 (4) Total - 44 King’s Lynn Stars 1. Max Fricke - 13 (5) 2. Paco Castagna - 5 (4) 3. Chris Harris - 9 (5) 4. Ben Cook - 5 (4) 5. Jan Kvech - 7 (4) 6. Cooper Rushen - 5 (5) 7. Jody Scott - 2 (3) Total - 46
  13. Comfortable night at the office for the Witches. 54-36.
  14. I was more thinking that NKI is second in averages so everyone can take a ride and they’re likely to be behind for Tac-sub stage at some point so track specialist Klindt can take 6 rides if they wanted
  15. And in the same breath I’d be disappointed if our top 4 don’t score 42-45 combined, they’re more than capable, especially at home against anyone.
  16. Will be interesting to see if Rob goes with B Cook at no. 2 again. It was obviously used to get 5-1’s with Max (2/3 success rate) and for him to comfortably win heat 8 (scored 0) but realistically should go with Castagna at 2 at home. The same as Thursday this meeting depends a lot on Musielak. He could score 15 but at the same time could score 5. As a Lynn fan I’m hoping for and predicting the latter. Going for a Lynn win and optimistic that they can sneak the aggregate point. 51-39. King’s Lynn Stars 1. Max Fricke - 14(5) 2. Paco Castagna - 5(4) 3. Chris Harris - 8 (4) 4. Ben Cook - 9 (4) 5. Jan Kvech - 10 (5) 6. Cooper Rushen - 3 (4) 7. Jody Scott - 2 (4) Total - 51 Ipswich Witches 1. Tom Brennan - 7 (5) 2. Scott Nicholls - 3 (4) 3. Tobiasz Musielak - 5 (4) 4. Danny King - 6 (4) 5. Richard Lawson - 9 (5) 6. Philip Hellstrom-Bangs - 4 (4) 7. Jason Edwards - 5 (4) Total - 39
  17. 1. Dan Bewley - 8.64 2. Anders Rowe - 5.22 3. Jan Kvech - 6.91 4. Dan Thompson - 5.87 5. Sam Masters - 7.28 6. Jye Etheridge - 3.00 7. Dan Gilkes - RS Total - 36.92
  18. This will be a lot closer than what the Witches fans are predicting. I think Ipswich will win but by a very tight margin. 47-43. Ipswich 1. Brennan - 10 (5) 2. Nicholls - 6 (4) 3. Musielak - 7 (4) 4. King - 7 (4) 5. Lawson - 8 (5) 6. Hellstrom Bangs - 4 (4) 7. Edwards - 5 (4) Total - 47 King’s Lynn 1. Fricke - 14 (5) 2. Castagna - 3 (4) 3. Harris - 8 (4) 4. Cook - 5 (4) 5. Kvech - 10 (5) 6. Rushen - 2 (4) 7. Scott - 1 (4) Total - 43
  19. League Table: 1. Sheffield ‘Tigers’ 2. Belle Vue ‘Aces’ 3. King’s Lynn ‘Stars’ 4. Leicester ‘Lions’ 5. Ipswich ‘Witches’ 6. Northampton ‘Make up the Numbers’ Play-Off Semi Winner King’s Lynn ‘Stars’ Grand Final Winner Sheffield ‘Tigers’
  20. Robert Lambert went straight into the top league without any CHAMP experience (in a stronger league) and he wasn’t half bad. I put young Coops on the same level at 15/16
  21. Shouldn’t matter what number is on your back. If you’ve got it (which the kid does) then you’ll be absolutely fine
  22. Don’t think you were singing this same song when you and the rest of the Ipswich contingent thought Cooper was signing for you guys…
