King’s Lynn v Sheffield 01/06/23
StarBoy replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I won't sit on the fence. I think we'll see a much improved and rallied response resulting in a narrow victory for the Stars. 47-43. -
According to another user KK has already put his UK equipment up for sale...
-
There was only 1 person who would be funding a No. 1 for you guys and until this point it hasn't materialised
-
Personally I would too. Think KK may have a point to prove and the Showground should really suit him as a home track.
-
Would you guys be able to fit in KK, Tarasenko and Tungate? That surely provides some much needed firepower? I'm assuming KK already knew he was on his way out last Monday when Lynn were at the Showground given Alex Brady's comments on when Laguta was signed. That might explain his poorer showing on a track that should suit him.

I was just messing based on you saying you weren't a fan of the phrase -

So their No 1 bottled? -
Fredriksen or Thomson?
-
Does it make anyone feel a bit nervous that Laguta might be at Peterborough and not Lynn? With Lynn not racing tonight and Peterborough are (aware it's not on Eurosport) but they usually provide updates from other meetings... Would seem strange that if Eurosport are going to make an announcement at the same time Laguta is meant too and Lynn isn't in action tonight?
-
Saw this morning that the latest green sheet declarations had been published. However, were swiftly removed and now not on there. Think that would imply that team changes are afoot.
-
It will fit. It's just very dependant on who the 2nd rider coming in will be...
-
I can't look past the Pickering injury. See him being sidelined for the remainder of the season. However, TJs performance tonight would likely indicate he's had his marching orders...
-
Conor Mountain seems a very viable shout... Another rider from championship? Jonas Knudsen although he guested for us last year against Sheffield and scored 3. If not another rider from the continent. A young Pole, Latvian or Czech...

Don't know if CMs average is correct but based on his current rolling GSA from 2022 AL - 8 MPT - 6.85 NK - 6.64 FJ - 6.39 JP - 5.92 CM - 4.51 = 38.31
-
What would Conor Mountains average be?
-
It's 2 changes minimum, has to be.
-
Hi Martin, any particular reason why neither of 2 the meetings tonight are being streamed?

Sheffield v King’s Lynn - 25th May
StarBoy replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think the terminology used was "ill" -
Both have full 1-7 according to Sheffield website as well. Glorious when a plan comes together!
-
I wouldn't be surprised if a package has been agreed with the new sponsors MacInnes. The team was already agreed before they became title sponsors so any changes could be as a result of direct investment from them. Who knows, just a thought.

Current GSA - 6.64

FOLLOWING the postponement of the recent King’s Lynn v Ipswich Premiership fixture, the Speedway Control Bureau launched an investigation into the reasons behind the call-off.The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday May 4, but was postponed on the afternoon of May 3 by stadium owners Norfolk Arena Limited. The reason given for the postponement was significant damage to the stock car fence, including the pits gate, following a stock car meeting on Bank Holiday Monday (May 1), which could not be repaired in time for the speedway meeting to take place. The SCB reviewed the circumstances of this postponement, having requested further information from King’s Lynn Speedway and Norfolk Arena Limited, with both parties complying with this investigation. Both King’s Lynn Speedway and Norfolk Arena Limited have been exonerated of any kind of improper conduct regarding the postponement of the fixture.A new date for the King’s Lynn v Ipswich fixture will be communicated as soon as possible.

Chris Louis is obviously a lot more accommodating than Buster is

I don't know the complete ins and outs but, I'm sure this MacInnes lot must have thrown a decent wedge in.
