  1. I think others do that for friends and family otherwise it would be a shame to miss out
  2. Often visited Poole and tried to put bum on seat but seats full with empty cushions and blankets even just after gates open !
  3. Your loss then but you obviously ain’t an Oxford fan as all last season was pay online and there were all demographics in the healthy crowds roll on 29/03/23
  4. The thing is the greyhounds are still operating !
  5. Let’s hope the council do the right thing for once and make sure that planning is followed
  6. Fair point, but it’s just the way it is so those people will miss the meeting
  7. A great meeting in prospect and all people can do is moan about having to buy tickets online even though you can pay on the gate.
  8. Latest here https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/23357658.update-hunt-new-swindon-robins-speedway-stadium/
  9. Doyle is pure class sooner have him than any of the others mentioned and totally committed to British speedway
  10. Check out the topic in general discussions
  11. I think he has been inconsistent his whole career but can be winner on many occasions.
  12. Along with the other 20 or so riders without teams. I hope they all get fixed up soon
  13. I think he was happy at Swindon as his results showed
  14. Always smiling from ear to ear when riding for Swindon robins.
  15. I think you will find not many as robins supporters have been starved of action since 2019 and there are still plenty out there. Oxford crowd very good last season with no pay at gate .
  16. Agree about mountain, heeps and Stark were very poor for Oxford last season
  17. Oh come on this drivel has been spouted for months now everyone knows that it was all lies and unless fans get together to fight and insist that planning conditions are met then that’s it everyone knows the ultimate outcome
  18. Terry Russell financed the remodelled Track at the abbey stadium and funded the robins successful teams over several years so credit where credits due he just got fed up with the lies from osbourne and cashed in his stake.
  19. It’s sad that there appears to be no fan organised opposition to the loss of the Swindon robins along the lines of Coventry or Oxford who have had plenty of positive support during their wilderness years Surely there must be plenty of people with the required skills and passion to drive this forward
  20. He wants to know if batch has got fixed up yet
  21. That headline from the Adver is the same that was issued in a press release on the 8/11/22 by motorsports or whatever they call themselves The Adver have a history of just copy and pasting stuff.
  22. I would hardly call £1 a meeting increase irresponsible with all the increased costs. I can’t see that being a factor in maintaining the crowd level in itself.
  23. Includes booking fee then so only £1 a meeting more even better
