  1. This debate was had weeks ago but has yet again been brought back by the usual suspects
  2. You are debating it with people who have no intention of going whether they accept cash, card, advance or even bitcoin.
  3. I live 48 miles away from Oxford similar to you but last year always bought in advance to save the hassle. As I pointed out before the people that are debating this on here have no intention of attending for a variety of reasons. By the way my disposable income is none of your business and I will save some of it buying tickets in advance for £1.00 extra
  4. No I will not be worrying it, As you say Oxford was a huge success despite not running for 14 years and the crowd was made up of all demographics I hope that those who attended last year still turn up and I don’t really think £1.00 increase will put them off.
  5. Free for any accompanied kids regardless of age what about Poole !
  6. Correct but last season you paid in advance so like for like it’s a quid I can’t believe we are still debating this as it’s pointless you either pay in advance on the day or not at all !
  7. Yes but as been said before it’s only £1.00 increase on last season( inc booking fee) and crowds were good.time will tell however and Iam sure they will take notice. Also don’t forget the free car parking and bus in your calculations
  8. As you know if everyone of the disgruntled contact the stadium instead of the odd one or two then you may get movement But as it’s the usual suspects complaining about this on here some whom would not attend even if they accepted cash at the gate.
  9. There’s a post about this already in general discussions
  10. That’s right Steve but as long as it does continue then there is still a chance however slim of a return of the Robins and I guess everyone on the forum would welcome that.
  11. I doubt Taylor wimpy are such a push over as Sbc and as of now (as far as planning goes) stadium needs to be finished before houses can start to be erected as Tomlinson said we wait with baited breath however
  12. Well of course they have to do it if that housing adjacent is to be built as I have not seen any new planning applications to vary the conditions that were set in 2019 let’s hope they complete all of it and the council stand firm this time as Tomlinson said.
  13. Correct and of course condition of said bung requires him to hang on to the reins for an indefinite time while gi decide on their next move. If the council insist on planning conditions being met ie acoustic screen and the rest then that will be the only way speedway would ever stand a chance.
  14. I doubt it’s the end as all these things have been discussed several times before
  15. It’s a pound more than last year in advance and as almost everyone paid in advance last year the odd casual spectator turning up probably would not worry about a couple of quid also it’s free car parking at Oxford even more savings .
  16. Interesting Ochiltree had 27% then quite a substantial amount so stood to gain quite a lot from the sale
  17. It was exactly as I said co midland sports shareholder sold out or if he was so opposed to the sale then his colleagues never listened when he spoke as you claimed originally.
  18. How do you know how many shares he had ?Ochiltree shareholder and midland sports sold leicester end of
  19. I understood fully Ochiltree was a shareholder in midland sports and they (midland sports) sold out to Barrett’s end of. you believe what you want
  20. Yes well we could debate this forever,I would suggest those of you that are unhappy contact the stadium to tell them how you feel
  21. Show ours on the phone but I think others show paper ticket
  22. What someone saves you one then, or have crowds gone down a lot since the last time I visited in 2019 with Swindon
